- Fresh off the finale of “The Masked Singer,” runner-up Donny Osmond, aka The Peacock, stopped by “Extra” at Universal Studios Hollywood to dish on his experience on the show. He revealed that his sister Marie almost spilled the beans about his identity!

They should give him the peacock costume. He made it his. Thoroughly enjoyed his performances and watch them repeatedly on You Tube.

Sherry Swain I recently just became a fan because they released Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat on RUclips, and all of these memories of watching it on VHS tape when I was three/four came flooding back... I even remembered some of the songs! (I wasn’t born when it was released but I really liked it growing up!
I am one of them OMG ☺ I love Michael Jackson and only knew of Donny because of him, but I only watched clips when he was a teen. Didn't know how well he performed when he grew up. He is great!!

Give him that costume!!! He IS the peacock. I know it’s not practical but how cool would it be if he just went on to perform as the peacock? Such a stellar performance week after week! He put a lot of thought into that!
Jessi Dawn : I agree. In fact all the contestants should be given their costumes to keep. Even if for some they might not where them again it would at least be something for them to have to remember their time on the Masked Singer

I knew it was Donny Osmond about ten seconds into the first song the Peacock sang! I also knew it was Donny when “Soldier of Love” was released in the US and the radio DJ’s were NOT revealing the singer! His voice is so familiar to his fans!
He should be given the Peacock costume and he should have been number 1 ! Loved the Peacock and I love Donny Osmond!
LOL Those 2 ladies standing behind them watching are hilarious. I am so glad the Peacock was Donny; such a wonderful guy and incredible performer. I grew up with the Osmonds, they are still so fun and down to earth. I hope Fox gives us some Donny/Peacock posters to buy up!

Fran, kinda easier to perform in his costume than in a freaking trash can/cylinder like the monster. I thought the monster did great for what he could do.

First off Donny I have loved you, Marie, and the rest of the family forever. I watched every show you were on, read every article/magazine you were featured, and of course listened to every song over and over again. Like most of the girls our age my heart broke a bit when you married Debbie. So thrilled you are still together! With that said from the first clue, the first movement and from the first note I knew the peacock was you! My family argued that it was NPH but I knew better. In fact I told them if it wasn't you I would have to toss out my purple socks! I can not travel to Vegas due to health reasons so thank you for coming back to my tv screen even if it was for a short season.
That was a funny share, "Weird Al wrote me and said, 'Glad to know the Peacock is not me!'" They both still have a great sense of humor. Loved a lot of the singers on this show - top 6 were very good. Great that he loved this experience - it really showed on the show.
When they started saying it might be Donny it bought back so many memories watching Donny and Marie when I was a kid

When Marie gave it away. That the peacock was Donny. I kind of thought could be true. But maybe she's just trying to throw us off. When I heard the peacocks start to sing. I could tell it was him. There was just parts in the songs that I knew it was him singing. I grew up as a big fan of Donny Osmond. He definitely was my first puppy love. I had his albums, posters, magazines. I had the great pleasure on meeting him. I was so excited it really made my day. I made sure I took a pic with him. That I will cherish forever. I really wish he would have won. I really loved his performance. The choices of songs. I just love the way he sings. May God bless The Osmond family ❤️
Once I heard him. I knew it was him, He has a very Identifiable Voice, I grew up on Donny Osmond, had all His Albums, he always sung me to sleep as a Child. The First Line of the Greatest Show, was all it took

I think you should go to the senior Osmond home in orem Utah with the peacock outfit on, it would really cheer them up.
I have loved this man since I was 5 years old! He is such a sweetheart! I met him and Marie a few years ago in Vegas. They are the real deal! If you get a chance to go it is the best! You don't even have to be a fan to enjoy the show! My husband wasn't, but he is now! Lol!

Yeah he gave too many good clues and gave it away But..I must admit he did throw me off a bit on the first song Greatest Show bc he sang in a lower octave. But then when he sang the second song Counting Stars I knew it was him for sure bc I totally recognized his voice in that song.

I never got tired of the twitch XD but Peacock and Rabbit were my favorites and I'm big fans of their real identities

@@franfinne9673 They really were! Some people's costumes made it hard for them to do much, but Donny and Joey stole the show. They got into their characters and they are at least 90% of my enjoyment of the show, at least initially. True performers.

I was watching a clip from Joseph and the Technicolor Dreamcoat last night. I forgot Donny looked so young back in 1992.
I just knew it was him all along. I just love him and his amazing singing voice.
They thought the coat of many colors was something else! I got it the first show with the purple feathers and puppy loving and other clues. The only clue I didn't get was the Peacock!

She really didn't give anything away. I mean as soon as he started singing I knew it was him, like Gladys Knight, his voice is unmistakable...plus the first batch of clues pretty much gave it away. There was even a video done at home of the peacock where they gave clues, and scanned across a symbol of angel Moroni. That was a dead giveaway.
Donny/Peacock was the best all around performer on the show and my fave. He was amazing! Rabbit was the other best performer on the show and my other fave. I thought both Peacock and Rabbit would be in the top three. I was shocked when Rabbit was unmasked. I looked forward to watching the show to see Peacock's performances. Bravo on second place!..but Peacock should have won! Give him that costume! He put his heart and soul into that character..he is the Peacock😊

What made me think it was Donny was the clue he gave about being a soldier of love. Which of course is a song of his. This is before I saw the clip where Marie spilled the beans on who the peacock was.

Really happy for DO. I remember being a kid in the 60s, when all the slightly older girls loved him. It sucked. Couldn't get them to put down Tiger Beat magazine w/ all those Donny pictures. And now... the guy's doin' Vegas shows every night AND the Peacock? His cardio must be insane.

2A Forever Exactly! It shouldn't be that way..it's supposed to be just based/judged on talent. Obviously it was not. I really think they wanted to move/push TPain's career forward. Honestly I'm turned off..the show has lost it's credibility with me.
