- Si calls Willie out for spreading very fake news about the Robertson family. Johnny D is shocked to learn that grandmas spank people. Si broke a whole lotta butcher knives as a kid and ALMOST didn't live to tell the tale. Stone remembers his mom whipping his butt at basketball to teach him a lesson. Martin's grandmother put a unique (and possibly poisonous) spin on washing kids' mouths out for cussing. Si explains why he and Jase are practically the same person. Stone shares a pic of the homemade hazmat suit Jase wore when bats invaded his house. Si talks about how God brought him back to Louisiana when his wife said she'd never return. And the boys reveal their favorite Disney princesses.

I could listen to Si talk about his childhood every episode and never grow tired of it.
My favorite parts of duck dynasty are those moments where Si says something random and everyone just looks at him wondering what he is talking about.😂

My favorite place was Grandma’s house. To me it was the best place on earth. She was always teaching me something valuable.

My dad was in the Marine Corps for 22 years.
Mom raised 3 kids basically by herself. She taught me how to fish, how to throw a ball, how to be courteous. Mom was also the disciplinarian. She was expert at using a Marine corps belt! I miss her.
I picked up on Martin's quick wit when I watched him on DD. He's much more intelligent than the show wanted you to believe, and he says some funny stuff. You have to be quick to catch it sometimes.

My mom said her daddy used to leave the heat off in the winter and would tell the 10 kids to get to work to get warm and sometimes if you didn't get to working, a whooping was coming.

So Jase's name was inspired by Si, well that inspiration and character that Si put into Jase inspired my wife and I to name our son Jason after jase. He gets jase for short, and our hope is that he is just as godly a man and inspires others to follow Christ too.
So long as you lead by example your son will follow the teachings of Jesus! You spread the gospel and your child will also!

Uncle si telling all his stories and just ramblin on reminds me of being with my grandparents when I was a kid. He was just talking and I was hearing the best stories of my life. No one else has been able to do that except Si. That's not me trying to kiss up either I swear I just really wanted to let yall know how much this show and duck dynasty meant to me

Uncle SI is probably the coolest uncle for them Robertson's kids. I know he calls us the side kick cool people but 15 minutes with him on a zoom would be like getting Si kicked upside the head! This podcast is some much needed comic relief!

My mom told me I was her favorite kid outta the 4 of us, and I was the only one there when she died along with my step dad. My youngest sibling was there, but had to get her kid's from daycare back in june of 2016. I feel like it was only a year ago, time is going fast. God bless everyone.
