How are you a combat graphic designer but do photography and videography?
"Graphic designer" is a very broad job title that extends well beyond just manipulating images. Many graphic designers do videos, take their own photos and really pretty much everything that is involved in creating still or moving images.
The combat part part is probably just because she's a Marine, and all Marines are first and foremost riflemen.
The COMMSTRAT MOS MOS spends several months cross training all the enlisted Marines so they all have a sold foundation on photography, videography, writing, speaking and graphic arts. Near the end of the school they are assigned either video, photo or graphics based on their strong suit during school. LCpl. Yost was best in graphics so was assigned that MOS. However, all COMMSTRAT Marines are expected to be able to do all three jobs with a certain level of proficiency. But, I do understand what you're saying regarding showing all imagery of her behind a camera and then saying "I'm a graphics specialist." Was probably just to show she still gets out of the office environment.
