YES this is actually a great Witcher 3 Platinium video. I've seen many, but most people just do it to add to a big list of platinium trophies. Watching someone who has so much respect for the orignial material and love for the licence is very, very refreshing. Thank you for this
The thing I’ve realised about Rob, watching his videos and gameplay is that he,no offence, is no exceptional gamer, but is a fantastic story teller. And that’s where his success lies. Love the platinum series! Keep succeeding in life!! ❤
seriously. was laughing so much at his refusal to use most of the signs except igni and quen. same with the bombs and oils. Would have made some of these fights ridiculously easy in comparison to the trouble he had. As someone who read the books. he should know that a witcher uses all available tools.
@draconuuse9731 not to mention he's been primarily using the Cat school armour which has the least defense out of them all. Sure it's quicker , but sometimes the bear armour lets you tank through attacks. Could have made his fight with olgierd clones so much easier!!
For anyone new to the game, you don't have to struggle with the Blood and Wine race that he's playing at 2:18:52. Despite being told that you should strike the dummies with your sword, you can also use your crossbow. And unlike the designated crossbow targets, you can just tap the button and the game will auto-aim for you for an easy hit.
As soon as i heard he was gonna play Witcher I lost my mind lol when I first found his channel I went back and looked at his old videos to see if he had done it before or not lol
I've watched this video in it's entirety, at least 4 times by now, this video perfectly encapsulates why I love Rob's channel. Every platinum video is just so involved. I watch a couple platinum youtubers, but the way Rob makes every video a journey, not just for himself but his audience, you watched the video, he explains the lore for non-book readers, dresses up for the part and everything. There's so much heart and soul in every moment this man plays a videogame that you can't help but be charmed by it. This is Absolute Cinema.

I've read all the Witcher books multiple times, same thing with all 3 of the Witcher games, (including 1000+ hours in Witcher 3, Platinum on ps and 100% on Xbox). Did I mention that I've read the books? I dream about forgetting everything so I could get to experience this amazing universe again. This video made me feel like it. And I believe that it is the best compliment that I could ever give to someone on the internet. Thank You!

the amount of commitment to a video like this is insane. reading the books alone must've taken ages but like i cant even fathom scripting and editing all this together
Ive been watching your channel for a while now and the thing i respect about you is you play every game in its entirety. There's so many other youtubers who only "platinum" the base game of what they're playing. I think in order to really earn the right to say you platinumed a game or got all the achievements you need to do all available content with achievements/trophies tied to the content. You absolutely do everything available in all games you play and for that i salute you sir.
That whole playthrough was grandiose, concluding with this well crafted video. You fulyl immersed yourself in the universe, even read the books, congrats ! My first playthrough of TW3 left a void in me aswell. When you're healed you might want to take a look at Cyberpunk 2077 and the Phantom Liberty DLC. It's another masterclass from CDPR, with as much attention to details and great writing

Rob, you have to do Kingdome Come Deliverance Platinum. That could be THE movie. Can you imagine how good a bit of Rob Cinematic Universe can be in Middle Age's Bohemia?
Thank you!! For taking us along this epic ride with you, for going HAM on Death March difficulty, for committing to the bit. As a fellow lover of The Witcher universe, it was awesome to see your reactions along the way of this masterpiece, sticking with it to overcome every single seemingly impossible battle and trophy. 10/10 would Witcher again, earned a new sub!
This was truly a privilege to watch someone so devoted to the lore experience this game for the first time. It was like playing it myself for the first time again. The lore call backs were a great addition too. Fantastic content. 10/10
Reading an entire book franchise to familirise yourself with lore before starting a video game is top tier chad behaviour. I just hope bro remembers us when he starts hitting the millions of subs, cuz it's inbound if the content stays this awesome.
Not gonna lie, I envy you so much for been able to play the game after reading the books. I played witcher 3 because a friend told me to when it was about to release and I liked a lot so much I decided to read to know more about the story and that is when I fell completely in love with this game and story. Sadly the books weren't fully translated to my language and to english at the time, so I had to wait years to read the full collection. So much so I was spoiled Regis died in the fight against Vilgerfortz. The witcher 3 is a complete obsession to me because the game on itself is amazing in almost every way, but because they respect and build so much on top of the books that are completely amazing. Yes my friend... is completely downhill from this point to you. Welcome to the pit, I've been here 10 years. (Also, if you haven't watched look for the 10 years special of witcher 3 on youtube and record it)
THANK YOU. For playing Witcher, not only playing Witcher but reading those books beforehand. This is my favorite fantasy genre since 2015 and I cannot love this more. The commitment to the bit. I am glad I watched every second of this beautiful 2:41:04 playtime of this. This video was incredible, beautiful. I haven't played Witcher 3 in a while but am glad to find a fellow Gwent Enjoyer here. I don't know if you'll see this but thanks for every second of this video....I know the effort to the bit, to the edits and to the commitment to reading those books before playing. Subbed and here for the future...hope the Internet Service Provider gets fixed because now I can't miss a single one of your streams if you do. BEAUTIFUL!
What I loved the most about this video is I finally found somenone who had the same experience as me with the witcher. Played witcher 3, read all the books and was HOOKED. Went back and played witcher 1 and 2 because I couldn't get enough of the universe. Been in depression ever since. I related so hard to all of your reactions and "I read the books", that was me explaining the lore to all my friends who would hear me lol
I did too and I loved doing it I didn’t want it to end. Only thing that was annoying was the fact some didn’t pop. For example when you get Ciri when she’s with the 7 Dwarves I had to do that over again.
You may (or may not) be surprised that today in Poland, Andrzej Sapkowski publish another witcher book. From what I've heard about "early days of Geralts life". Gonna pick it up today and check if it's true ;)
Such a brilliant video, so glad it showed up on my for you. Basically got to relive what I did this summer so thank you - the game hits different. Definitely worth a sub!

*And yes, I'll be watching this at least 9 more times.
I never image myself enjoying this almost 3 hours video that randomly pop up on my youtube. You deserve a sub man.
Rob, you are incredible! Thank you for this journey! Your passion, your emotions and your production is ridiculous… And that’s what make you, your channel and your videos perfect!
This was the best video I ever saw. And now Rob became best youtuber I ever met! Glad I found you on this platform!
the amount of commitment to a video like this is insane. reading the books alone must've taken ages but like i cant even fathom scripting and editing all this together
0:15 winds howling
Edit: Thankx for the likes 👍
I watched rob from when he had 30 k subscribers and seeing how far he’s gone, love this man, rob mob forever
I am glad you are doing so well after moving on from COD and finding your true calling! you are an amazing creator, all the best.
5:28 this is how you instantly get a new subscriber. Welcome to the Yennefer enjoyers club brother.
2 hours, 41 minutes and 5 seconds of cinema arriving
Had to watch in three parts. So happy I made it to the end. Great video!
I gotta say.. this is one of the best RUclips playthrough videos I’ve ever seen. The respect you have for the source material really shows, and I don’t think I’ve ever watched a RUclips video this long and enjoyed it so much.
Thanks for your dedication to this.. it was incredibly entertaining!
This video is pure cinema. Ps i actually think he read the books guys but im not 100% sure cuz he didn't mention it in the video at all so don't quote me on that
Babe! Come downstairs Rob just posted the Witcher platinum vid.
I’ve started watching your videos last year and I can say that I’ve witnessed your progress and this video is your masterpiece. Watching this really made my weekend better in every way. When I was done with my homework I sat on the couch and watched this PEAK video for 2 and a half hours.Absolute CINEMA . Did you read the books btw😂
I returned to this video after I had watched so many more of witcher content. I just want to tell you how much joy I receive from you. But THIS is my favorite. Especially parts with explaining books. I am sooo waiting for more!
Didnt think I would watch a nearly 3 hour video of a dude I never heard of, BUT, enjoyed every single second of the video. Thank you for the effort! Was lovely to see how much you got into it since I also was never the same after I found the witcher fandom. Earned a subscriber!
0:46 bro did not say concord 💀
That has to be satire lol
Rob, you have to do Kingdome Come Deliverance Platinum. That could be THE movie. Can you imagine how good a bit of Rob Cinematic Universe can be in Middle Age's Bohemia?
ive been meaning to replay witcher 3, then witcher 4 was announced, and i found this video. i take it as a sign 😂
It's destiny
Absolutely great video. A lot of work was put in this video. ❤
Imagine deathmarch difficulty if quen sign wasn't in the game 💀
Brother you need to finish the last quest when Geralt smiles to the camera as his adventure ends, you have to talk with the vampire guy to start it
It is Regis not a "vampire guy". Probably Geralt's greatest bro after Dandelion
42:30 i felt the same way when i first played baldurs gate and the one bard lady sang a whole song, it was art
(Also, if you haven't watched look for the 10 years special of witcher 3 on youtube and record it)
The Uncharted Platinum Trophy Grind is gonna make the Batman Arkham Trilogy look tame in comparison.
Also The Horizon Platinums are there.
Hopefully he goes for the Horizon Games
@@ll_ryuk_ii4909imagine he does the Lego game too😂
I am really want him to do a RE platinum after he does uncharted and horizon.
@@THEONETRUEOVERLORD i‘m Kinda disapointed, that they needed to make a Lego Game out of it
The return of the RCU has arrived at its fullest
BEAUTIFUL!
This was the most perfect, hilarious and downright awesome content I have watched on RUclips ever, thank you so much!😊
4:26 ‐ i laughed so hard i snorted in the lobby of a Mazda dealership while waiting for my car to get serviced... thanks :)
This one will hit different!
awesome video from start to end! a straight up movie!
Thanks Kyle!
Timing is great with Witcher 4 announcement
You may (or may not) be surprised that today in Poland, Andrzej Sapkowski publish another witcher book. From what I've heard about "early days of Geralts life". Gonna pick it up today and check if it's true ;)
Such a brilliant video, so glad it showed up on my for you. Basically got to relive what I did this summer so thank you - the game hits different. Definitely worth a sub!
Wow, man, I'm impressed.
Great video, great work - really appreciate the struggle. Lived that story again with you, what a masterpiece.
funny enough how I just got the 100% plat for thus game as well i didn't want it to end but now I am off to other adventures going back to 100% the rest of the games I have to do and achieve new platnuims on the way.
I think he read the books guys
Andrzej Sapkowski wrote a new book from the world of the Witcher, which will be released tomorrow, November 29. The book is called Rozdroże Kruków, which translates in English to Raven's Crossing or Crow's Crossroads
This is one of those games that consumed my life during the pandemic. Every day I would look foreword to playing it before and after work. When I was finished, I was sad, I couldn't live that experience again. I've played through it again, but it just didn't feel the same as that first time. To watch you do play through brought back what I felt when I had my first playthrough. Thank you, here is your like
As someone who read the books, I loved this playthrough. I could tell you read the books, being one who read the books myself. I love how you were a loyal witcher to Yen. Thats the only way to do it. After I read the books, I couldn't fathom going after any other character. Did you say you read the books? It really seemed like you did, you're very knowledgeable. I too read the books, not sure if i mentioned that.
2:41 😂 Jesus this is the longest one so far
