Hi Arunji. Happened to revisit this today. You have explained it like none else. Too good. I do have a Harley Benton 12-string. I cannot play like you of course. But this sounds so good on a 12-string, Pure bliss. Short of words. Wonderful lesson. KUdos.

But am not getting time to record the cover part, so unfortunately will take few more months Raina beeti jaye doesn't have any strumming but the chords are played on the 1st beat of each bar. Let me think about this one, may be it would be easy to send you the chords directly 👍
Unfortunately couldn’t reply earlier. There are couple of possibilities: 1)You want to learn staff notation or maintain the beat, by making use of the metronome feature of guitar pro. In that case using GP will be useful. 2) if you do not wish to use staff and metronome, but: A)if you practice scales with same timing of say all notes at 1/4 or 1/8, then GP is NOT required. B) if you practice scales with notes with different timings, such as some notes at 1/4, others at 1/8, then GP definitely will be useful. All the best👍

.... as beginner is it advisable to use guitar pro 8 to practice scales ...play along with it
