I love how the eyelashes aren’t even eyelashes. They just appear that way cause you got your values right. The eyes are my favorite part of this. How many hours did this take?

I've seen many painters who start oil painting work pretty rough, with minimal or no details. But, this way of showing the tiniest details from the start is such a beautiful way as well. Like all professional artists say, "There's no right or wrong way to do this. Whatever works for you!"
