With all the abuse Farage gets, I've never seen him lose his temper. Always composed and dignified. Great man
Yeah psychopaths are pretty calm under pressure
try asking Claire fox about her views on child porn censorship
Enoch Greensock interesting assumption about my gender. And my intelligence. Thanks for the medical lesson though I do know the difference between a psychopath and a sociopath having worked clinically with such individuals for over 10 years.
More like a great con man.
@Repeat After Me: HE LOST HIS TEMPER AT SECURITY GUARD TODAY AFTER THE MONGO MILKSHAKE ATTACK
This is hilarious, they have better chemistry than 99% of most blind dates!
G G
The lovely Cilla would have been delighted but HER blind dates were (supposedly) single people!
You are right. Politically I absolutely loathe Farage and all he stands for-but Rachel is right, as a person you can’t help but like him-which in many ways is what makes him so dangerous politically. I adore Rachel, she is the perfect person to talk with him as she absolutely disarms him and gets him to talk without making him defensive. Shame she has such a twit for a brother.
@@lilylolly8757
Farage is equally disarming. Why do you find the same thing politically dangerous in someone whose views you oppose yet charming when you approve of them politically?
Peers Corbyn ("Who? I hear you say!) is a World Leading Climate scientist who has (amongst many other REAL scientists) proved the Climate Project Fear to be a political hoax. He has also conclusively disproved the alleged man-made aspect of Climate Change.
It's a shame that he's got a dangerous world class twit for a brother.
Boris doesn't have a twit for a sister. That doesn't make him a Twit.
If we didn't have to vote for our politicians but did a Dangerous Twit count amongst the parties
we'd still have the same govt. in power. It wouldn't be a landslide but we'd be left in no doubt!
Perhaps you´re right. But perhaps they´re just professional celebrities who know how to act and talk entertainingly, on top of it when camera is present. They also know pretty much of each other so they don´t need to go through all the tedious basic blabla.
The right wing BBC
They have genuine chemistry!
doubleredsx3
By chemistry you mean wine?
She definitely wanted to bang him
And probably did ... in the back of his car ... on the way home !!!!
Don't be pathetic...you sound like 14 yr old....
A few years out on that one Darling .... you don't read the stars in your spare time do you .... no thought not !!!!
Civility in politics, wonderful. Leave it to the British.
Leave it to Nigel... I like to give credit where credit is due!
Just shared on Facebook for exactly the same reason - I don't particularly warm to either but the tone of this debate/conversation was a refreshing change from the now norm
0 0 Yeah but I want to see WWE 223 the House of Commons edition though with Boris getting Corbyn in a rear naked choke hold though 😂
As an American, Im in awe
@@derkguez8590 yep britain is royally fucked up atm.. that little Brexit experiment is going just great. check da news :3
When Nigel left mid date, he was voting to leave. She just remained that whole time.
Can't barage the Farage!
lol I'm muslim and I actually really like him.
Adam, It's called the Stockholm syndrome
Scotland can barage Farage.
Jean-Michel Lambillotte not really...
She did big time when he ran off
How can anyone watch this and think Farage is a bad person? It's mad. He's actually a genuinely likeable bloke. Shame the #tolerantLeft don't care about tolerance when it is someone that opposes them politically... thus destroying his family. They should be ashamed of themselves.
Farage for House of Lords!
Eventually. ! ! K
...... or now in 2019 PM !
Definitely Prime Minister first. K
p
It's funny you've said that cause on May 16, 2019 NIGEL FARAGE has announced he plans to abolish the House of Lords.
On Douglas Carswell.
Rachel: He's clever
Nigel: Is he?... Odd bloke 😂
Readd1 as a libertarian I have a lot of respect for carswell but he is a weird guy
She makes him blush like a baby! Brilliant I love this x
To see Nigel blushing so lovely what a lovely man
The more you listen and follow Nigel the more you can't help but wish him all the best and would definitely give him my vote
Amen
ant arca.
Common sense at last but the people who most need to, won't listen because he's not what they want to hear!
🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤦♀️
Rachel, you left your phone on your seat at the very end.
Allan White
She forgot her brain too.
I love Nige, one of my all time heroes, and even though Rachel is a remainer, I think she's a delight 😊😊
How pathetic
Farage is an absolute statesman, one hell of a man! You Brits are lucky to have him fight for Britain!!
i agree we are very lucky to have him,
Fight for Britain against what
What a top bloke. I would watch a show about him any day, and she, though I dislike her politics, seems like a lovely lady.
Come on! Everyone knows Jess Philips' blind date should be Jacob Rees-Mogg!
I would pay the salary of a Saudi Prince to see that!
I still don't get what the Beeb were thinking, not shipping the completely obvious.
They're already fairly good friends though
They are basically banging each other already.
@wayne goff Beat me to it.
i like these. its nice to see both sides talking civilly rather than scream at each other.
Indeed ... Great man. Feel sorry for him that his love life has fallen to bits
I don't often agree with Nigel (he's good for a laugh, but it's hard to take him seriously) but the fact that someone's political views would destroy someone's life is ridiculous. Us on the left need to look at the way we tackle disagreement, it's a joke at the moment.
Top Hattington Us in the world need to learn to disagree more peacefully
I know mate it's sad. Some people on the left need to look up the definition of a 'liberal'. There needs to be more tolerance and respect shown for those with conflicting political opinions. Beat people through debating your argument, absolutely no need to resort to physical abuse. So sad.
Well said! Healthy debate is the way to go. Respect each other's views and reach a middle ground. What a great idea, looking forward to the time when others can do the same.
Top Hattington, "Us on the left need to look at the way we tackle disagreement, it's a joke at the moment."
I wish it were. The problem is that anyone who attempts to reason with remainers are greeted with a barrage of jingles and hostility, and it's becoming increasingly difficult to see the funny side of it.
Wouldn't you agree?
John Blud
So a leftist conceded that they need to be more healthy debaters and tackle disagreement objectively, that’s all you guys have ever wanted and that’s your response?
I much prefer this style of interview.
It's amazing with the amount of abuse Nigel Farage has had to put up with all these years how he manages to remain such a decent guy. Very rarely do these sort of people come along and I think we will only really appreciate him when he's dead and gone. One things for sure, he might be skint but his name will go down in history.
7:50 They are asked if they would both stand for EU elections if uk wasn't out of the EU in 2019... :)
What a lovely woman even though I don't support her
wouldn´t refuse to be her sex slave
They should of grabbed a hotel room lol
quite charming, civil and genuinely friendly informal debate by people holding opposing views.
Nigel in my view is a people's champion. A man who actually understands what the word democracy means and is unafraid to stand up to old school political bully boy rhetoric and tactics. An ordinary man with high integrity doing extraordinary things in British politics....and Americans and their president love him too.Total respect for him.
Nigel Farage is such a Boss. I don't like all his policies, but I like him and Trump as people. Can't hate 'em.
farage yes, trump is literally a moron.
@@TheShubbah agreed... I disagree with Farage on a good many things but he comes across well and I don't have any animosity towards the man. Trump comes across horribly in so many ways. He comes across as incredibly idiotic, out of his depth, lacking in manners, un-diplomatic in everyway possible, and the purest most annoying embodiment of American Exceptionalism... not to mention he huge ego, the "me me me" attitude, and the self-centric approach to trade policy (ie. Totally one-sided in the most blatant way... per his own writing a deal is only good if you gain at the other sides expense... mutual give and take is a bad deal).
@@TheShubbah He's such a moron he won
@Nim Boo Being Jewish always comes from the mothers side! If your mother is not Jewish nor are you!
What a great concept, thought both of them handled themselves brilliantly. Good example for all of us to not get angry whilst having these sort of discussions. Surprised this doesn't have more views.
I have met Nigel a number of times and have always found him to be a thoroughly decent sort. Not remotely like any of the propaganda dished out by the two main parties. An interesting thing happened at one of the meetings, a famous and pretty powerful person, quietly made a racist remark to Nigel. Nigel's reaction was not to be diplomatic and ignore it, but to turn his back on the chap and ignore him thereafter. A very decent bloke, and I wish his fortunes turn around.
Nigel Farage is such a charming, charismatic man with such courage. Its a pleasure to watch him and listen to him.
The only problem with Mr Farage is; he is too good to be true. Why would any sane person, sacrifice a successful, well paid career, just to fight against the the EU?
maybe he feels so strongly about his country he has made that sacrifice and democracy means a lot to him.
The best of British. Lovely people I wish all remainders could be so lovely lol
Nigel talks such good sense and really lays out facts in an understandable way, with great clarity and without any prejudice.
SeSe SeSe are you serious, there was not a single fact in what he said !
2:39 the way farage arrive at places is first class
I would love a remainer to tell me, when the good times where, as I must of missed them.
When the good times where? Do you mean when the good time were?
The Johnsons are very down to earth aren't they.
Thank goodness for good manners.! Human beings holding different perspectives can still enjoy one another's company. Quelle surprise!
It's quite embarrassing watching her flirt with him and he trying (and succeeding) to remain composed.
I loved this, bloody sweethearts the both of them.
They make a lovely couple!
Bless you Nigel this country loves you to bits x
D shaw Amen to that - finally after years we are out - he deserves a Dukedom not just a Lords X
There's an empty pillar in Trafalgar Square.... this man is a living hero.
i think nigel deserve every honour thats going and a statue of course
outstanding, get Nancy Pelosi and trump on a date best bring an ambulance
I'm liking these, political discourse should be cordial.
Nigel sounds really nice!
Sound guy. He seems to have sacrificed alot for our nation.
Loved watching this. Two wonderful people. :) good luck to both.. hope rach wakes up soon as she has a great heart.
Farage is a legend
Con man
They should do this more often!
Was it me or didn't she have a clue as to why she wanted to stay in the EU? She epitomises well what Churchill quipped, "five minutes alone with the average, British electorate is enough to put anyone off of democracy". The woman could not articulate any kind of coherent argument for staying in. She doesn't even know why she joined the Libdems and has a vague feeling that might be a mistake. Good grief, she's a blundering disaster.
Edit: Russell Brand would have been a much better choice. Bipolar opposites
John von Horn what else do we expect from sister of Boris?
Shed make a fabulous MP....... skirting round the main question with no answers!
What a genuine chap !!
Jess has an MP its your fxxking job to know where the money has gone
10:54"Could you make *me* unsee the light?" she means!
Thank you Nigel for delivering Brexit you heart my hero
Two very charming people there.
Absolutely amazing! Love it - priceless!
I can’t believe that Nigel Farage has actually made me intrigued to look at/review the Brexit Party and it’s mandate! Incredible!
Rachel Johnson is absolutely brilliant.
Undoubtedly the most civil and engaging conversation about Brexit I have seen.
Loved it. They have mutual respect.
Thank heavens it wasn’t Gove.
All good fun for the establishment not factory workers or owners reliant on the single market ?
Nobody is reliant on the single market. Sell your goods elsewhere.
@@stephenmurray2851 imagine thinking it's this simple. Oh wait that's brexit in a nutshell.
Nigel asks what I ask "why do you want to remain" I have never had an answer either.
If it helps, I feel like she does. I like what we had. So much to lose and nothing to gain. I don't want to be in a recession again or poorer, even if only for 5-10 years and that is inevitable if we leave the free-trading block and isolate ourselves. I simply don't see what we'd gain. 🤷♀️ We have sovereignty (it's an illusion that we don't) and control 99% of our budget. We also control immigration from outside the EU, whilst our economy needs immigration from within the EU - no UK govt would ever curb it. There are matters like air pollution, tax evasion, environmental management and crime that require international cooperation and what of poor Northern Ireland - are we to screw them over once again? The UK has benefited from EU legislation that protects citizen's rights and health. Unless I had pots of money I wanted to squirrel away in, I dunno, a unregulated, uncertain fiscal system I cannot see why we would want to leave.
@@BeaIEngio Wow!! you are beaten . So much to gain and nothing to lose. Take a good look at what you buy this week, and where it comes from.
He got a kiss before even sitting down, what a boss! Just try keeping these two apart after this.
They are not throwing milkshakes over each other. They respect each others views.
Loved them both in this
actually the best thing i have ever seen on the left wing liberal bbc
10:50 was that a take me to bed question ???
He isn't skint 😂😂
Dani compared to Aaron Banks and Trump he is
The man is blushing! wow
They should do this in America
God that waitress is terrible.
10:48 "Could you go to bed with a Remainer?"
That sounds like an offer.
She blatantly fancies him
Wow. I learned so much.
Interesting the waitress and Boris’ sister brought up Nigel’s love life at least 4 times
Relevance?
They both want him to bone them. He has something of a reputation.
Loved this. I reckon he slipped in a few fingers in the loo after coffee. Lad.
The EU is going to be crushed with unpayable debt. Italy's debt alone could bring the Euro crashing down. Either interest rates remain negative, as they are now, and the debt interest remains low or interest rates become positive again and banks can make money on loans again but the interest on outstanding debt becomes overwhelming. The EU can't grow as a result. it's boxed itself in. The UK is right to unhook itself from this and find new trade in the rest of the world.
This political Blind Date concept should be brought to the US.
@@lewisistic ... I'm sorry, but I don't want to see Yannopolous anywhere. He has made disgusting remarks relative to pedophilia. He should be denied any public forum of any kind, for the rest of his life.
That stated AOC with any number of people would be a 'must watch' event.
Frank Hoffman You do realise that there are children who were raped and when they were interviewed some of them liked it? I was totally shocked. It’s Milo’s experience. Would you say then the children normalised pedophilia? Nope they didn’t they were victims and so was Milo. Just because you don’t like someone’s opinions/views doesn’t mean they should be denied a product/service. The article about the children was one I had read three years ago which made me be skeptical about Milo’s controversy.
@@lewisistic ... If I knew who you are, I would put you on the same list as Yannopolous. NAMBLA-style justifications for pedophilia disqualify anyone who speaks them. You don't take as gospel the opinions of traumatized kids.
@ThePatUltra ...I admit to intolerance on anything pedophilia. I've seen too many adults who carry that trauma around with them DECADES AND DECADES into adulthood. I've heard enough pedophiles disgustingly claim they are doing the children a favor - which is, in essence, what Yannopolous claimed. I think he believes it and only apologized because his speaking gigs were drying up. I don't sense an ounce of honesty in him and believe he still has a predator's glance toward underage boys.
I'm not apologizing. Give him not one minute of broadcast time. Let him get a job deburring plastic pipe fittings in a factory somewhere. I hope to never hear from him again.
14:51 "Metal detecting" 😂😂
When I left school in 1957 it was possible to get a job on a Monday morning, leave it by 2pm on the same day and be in another job first thing on Tuesday morning. It was also possible to be in work for the entirety of your working life if that's what you wanted, and leave with the proverbial retirement clock at the end of it. The only black side in the UK's industry was the Unions who would go on strike for something as trivial as lifting a hammer when it wasn't your job to lift it. The phrases "all out brothers" and "down tools" were all too familiar to the blue collar working class. But nonetheless the UK was a great place to live and people got on well with each other as a rule. What has the EU ever done for us? They claim they brought peace in Europe, but hang on, wasn't that the job of the United Nations? Okay, they gave us cheap airline fares, but have you booked a holiday lately. Not exactly cheap is it? Too be honest, they have done bugger all except take our money and bring discontent right across Europe with their left wing ideology. They have grown fat on the work of millions of ordinary people who have been tied to the EU austerity programme for well over a decade. Countries have been overrun by swathes of immigrants coming from a culture that has no alignment with the Western world. And over population has had a negative affect on housing, education and health services all around Europe and the UK. It can't go on as it is. We need to get back to running our own affairs. We need to have a certainty that whoever we vote for can be challenged if they don't do the job properly as we are seeing now. It's time for a change. Let's run our own country again. For Pete's sake no more EU.
I really enjoyed this. Very good chemistry between the two. You can see that Nigel is guarded about certain aspects of his life, despite the prodding from Rachel on personal issues. Rachel can be pushed off the Remain ledge eventually. She's no different than any other Remainer. They want to keep what they have, not understanding that what they have dwindles by the day as long as the UK remains in the EU.
Rachael Johnson made Farage appear like a schoolboy, drawing him out with her emotional intelligence and stroking his ego.
He’s a con man
The waitress should of kept her mouth shut. Apart from that, it was good fun to watch.
This woman can talk you into doing anything.
BJ's sister is loose af
So English, World!
They’re very good friends. Obviously. Great chemistry & debate.
Amazing couple.
She is MORE THAN DELUDED- SHE IS DERANGED
I like them both, but it was like watching breakfast/lunchtime soapy tv.
i feel guilty for enjoying that so much
Such chemistry. Look at her lean in towards him, she can't get enough of the Farage
Very good
Even those who hate Farage can't help but love him. A true statesman, and a true Briton.
he's never held any state offices, so how can he be a statesman❓❓
Absolutely brilliant, both were entertaining and lovely..
You two were made for eachother - what a great and influential couple they would make !!!!
Nigel farage. Imo best we have in England.
Rachel Johnson: Nigel, What should I do with the rest of my life?
Nigel Farage: What do you want to do? Laughingly "We're all aloud a mistake"
He is just a nice chap, and Rachel Johnson, a thoroughly nice person.
Let no-one attack their personalities
Wonderful but too framed and cut. Release the full conversation please.
As an American, I think Nigel and the blond would make a lovely couple.
@Αγαπη Laird XD XD XD
Rachel ain’t a bad person tbh, very sensible and grounded. Cant believe she’s Boris’ sister
the waitress at 4:10 just lets him have it - "are you talking about work AND INFIDELITY or....?" 🤣🤣
Really enjoyed this, two nice people.
Holy shit. This was so prescient!
Loved it
