Battery Powered E-Paper COVID19 Display - ESP32 (trigBoardv8)

Updating the original project from here: • Coronavirus (COVID 19)...
Now with trigBoard, so easily can change the wakeup time and state all with the Bluetooth connected chrome app. Really shows off some of the new features with the trigBoard v8.

Note that I'm using the 640x384 resolution - looks like there's a newer display with higher res, so display library may not work properly with that one.

Kevin - there is a good online tool to do the image conversion for E-paper displays. I find that easier than installing an app and of course works on all platforms. javl.github.io/image2cpp/

The trigboard nicely compliments the project. This project would be useful in the future for other statistics too. Maybe a nice picture frame to hang it from the wall is all it needs.

Dude love the videos and appreciate the time and effort u spend on them.
Question: would u consider doing a video (if this is even possible) of displaying other types of info? For example, weather, sports, stock prices, etc.

yea, the trigBoard sports a really nice RTC (Real Time Clock), so in the next week will make a video showing how to use that timer to wake at any interval you want to log temperature sensor data to the cloud and plot with Grafana. Really cool stuff!

Is the wake up timer (240minutes) something that is standard inside esp32 or does it need external components to work ?

Great project, you could add to the display, the time and date of the last update, and/or the predicted time date for the next update.
