I got mine when they first came out precovid and i still use it and love it so much. In so sad that LG stopped making cellphone. Its my only cellphone and it still in my opinion holds up to the stardards of today. Thats why I have never replaced it
I still take my Velvet on occasional road trips. Great camera! Love the headphone jack! The S22 Ultra is my daily device, but I will never part ways with the Velvet, lol! Keep making LG videos 🤘
This phone is great! Bought it soon after it came up so just over 3 yrs ago, initially for its design. Three yrs later still in use, perfect working order and absolutely mint condition. As long as everything works 100% tip top and you're not one of those fanatics running to the store to get a new iphone I can't see why you wouldn't use the LG in 2024 especially it's equipped way better than many new plastic bricks these days not to mention it looks and feels like no other!
I have the 4G Version and had to factory reset it last summer because it would freeze when I wanted to unlock it with my fingerprint..I could't even turn it off. When I wanted to google something a weird white window popped up for about a second which was really annoying and the camera was kinda bad. Since the factory reset the phone is honestly like new. I've always taken good care of my battery ( I don't care if people say I doesn't matter if you charge 30-80 but I always did and still do after 3 years) I leave the house with 80 %, take pictures, use google maps, some other apps and still have about 30-40 % when I get home. After the reset the camera has improved too. It works like new and I can't justify getting a new phone...kinda waiting for it to die tbh because I want something new. I just wish we would still get security updates.
Im sill mad I didnt get it with the dual screen case. I love my LG V60 but having both would have been awesome. Since the dual screen is hard to find, would you pick up a Wing?
Yeah, I'm not sure the dual screen with the T-Mobile variant. I've had the wing and got rid of it because surprisingly enough it wasn't the best in performance. Video using the gimbal mode was very grainy in lightly dimmed scenarios. Plus the speaker was horrible
I bought one in the colour Ilusion Sunset at January 2021 and now at January 2024 i changed for a S24 Ultra due to instagram bugs in the LG Velvet, 3 years with this amazing phone, i will miss it In my opinion, the most good looking phone ever, of all times. At least the phone will still in my family, since i gave it to my grandmother as a gift. I was comparing the display of the S24 Ultra with the display of the LG velvet, and belive or not the Lg Velvet looks way more better, with more vivid colors.
@colie2566 Why not? I use different devices for different things, like one still takes mirco sd cards and has a headphone jack and the other one might have a better software and cameras. Or you just like two different devices and if you can get both then why not.
I haven't had a chance to watch this video yet, but I'm sure it's great! I really miss LG smartphones. They were doing something great and I don't believe everyone saw it, if only they did and LG could have kept it up.
Gonna keep on using the Velvet till my contract ends in Dec 2024. I am extremely saddened LG pulled out of the market, but after losing money for 6 yrs straight, i guess you can't blsme them.
My "Illustion Sunset" LG Velvet is my most favourite phone I've ever owned. Bought in 2020 and still going strong. It'll be a sad day when it's time to let her go.
Wish Lg was still around they are the only ones that took chances tried new stuff like the lg wing now everything looks the same hell the lg g4 was the first phone with qhd display. SAMSUNG needs to copy that same design for there s25.
I bought my Velvet early on. Was a real fan of LG phones, would have their newest if they didn't get out of the sector. I need to replace the battery, next phone will likely be a Sony but I have to buy it at full pop.
@@SicErikTech Thanks! I'll peek to see how much the G8 costs, new. I am a smidge concerned about no update support. so may deviate to the v60, even though i like the size of the velvet more.
Still using LG G8 Thinq for the past 4-5 years and it still works like new but I am getting worried that something is going to happen because of the age. I want something similar and I read the Velvet took the place of my g8. If anyone has any advice I'd sure take it
Yes, the LG Velvet is the next next LG Device. The V60 would be more powerful with better cameras. Keep in mind these devices are not being updated anymore 😕
Even in 2024, this phone works well, but I need to change its battery soon because it is almost four years old. I have no plans to replace it in the near future.
Hey guys, sorry for the audio. I had technical difficulties 😔

My red colour velvet is just such a fashion statement. Its hard to let it go.
Just bought in FEB 2024 so yes its worth it.
Me too, used in good condition for 100$
How is the battery life?
@@vincewilliamshortelano9404 not bad at all, my teen has been using it as his daily driver since then with no issues.
Keep up the good work. I realy love LG devices and they will forever remain in my heart❤.
Watching this video on my V60.
LG made great phones. The G and V lines were awesome.
Still have this phone. Red color T-mobile, and still this phone is superb up to this day!
Watching on my Velvet now. ❤️

Just bought a used one mint condition! Works like a charm, my daily is the S23 Ultra. I don't have any complaints when switching to this.
Still using mine as a home backup when my iphone 13 mini is charging! I love LG
The color choices on this are better than the v60 for sure! 120hz would have been killer on this and the v60.
Watching on my LG Velvet 5G
love it
The 855 is still running no issues so I'm sure anything after is great. Not sure about 7 series power tho. Lol

Wow, that looks really nice. I love the red one. I'm trying to find mine. Of course, doesn't look like yours. Good job on the video, as always 😊
I still have my old stylo 3 and 4, G6, wing, and V60 WITH the dual screen case in my phone collection and had fun in my time daily driving them.
Watching on my back up lg velvet 5g Korean edition not us model it's still worth it in 2024
5g works on korean editiion or not

Definitely rocking a LG device as my second phone in 2024.👏👍
If you don't mind me asking. Why have a second device?

I'm still using this device as my daily driver
Well done. I still have my Velvet and really like it. I have the second screen case and love it. I am ecstatic that I got this phone a few years ago.
Thank you for dropping by
Can you make a video comparison between lg v60 and Xperia 1 iii/ s23 fe?😊

It was the lg G3 that had the quad hd display first. Remember it well my first Lg phone.
Hi im using a second hand lg V60 for one year and she is 4 years old till date, can she survive one more year? She is working absolutely fine.
She definitely can, I don't think she'll get anymore updates though
@@SicErikTech but im afraid of having charging port problem in future as peoples are complaining.
@@ahmarali8588just get it fixed and change the battery in 1 go. Lg spareparts are widely available
Watching on my lg g8
Hii.. I am user of LG G8 too.. How was ur experience during using it?
I still have mines as daily
I'm changing my white/different color lg velvet for anothet phone, but I think its so pretty and smooth, its so hard to part away with it 😪
I ordered mine yesterday

Good luck with the velvet wish i had one lol
Watching 👀 on my LG's Mobile phone that's they call LG G7 THINQ.Older but still goodie in 24s.
Did the t-mobile version get android 13?
have to replace my g7 thinq. i gave it lots of concussions, so need to replace it. do you the g8 is worthwhile?
I would probably go with some like the Velvet, it at least has 5G. Granted you won't get updates on any LG you choose if your okay with that.
@@SicErikTech Thanks! I'll peek to see how much the G8 costs, new. I am a smidge concerned about no update support. so may deviate to the v60, even though i like the size of the velvet more.
I have 4g turkish variant and still on android 12. I wonder when they will relase android 13 for us or at this point will they ever relase

Planning of getting one
Will it work with visible by Verizon?

What launcher do you have on your phone?
lawnchair.app/
I miss LG phones
I order last week
Such a gorgeous design and the tear drop cameras might have been copied by samsung?
Support gcam ?
Is that stock android or launcher?
It's lawnchair launcher
I haver 4g version (snap 845), Its a good phone..
LG was one year late on the 120hz front. Otherwise, they probably would have survived.
Does have a Face ID ?
No, they stopped facial recognition on the after the G8
Mediatek ew. Team snapdragon over here. Still rocking a s20 🤓
Man, your microphone is not the best
No you are wrong. T-Mobile version is 4300mah not 4000.
Bro sound bad
I’m glad you can finally afford a phone you didn’t have to make a video.
I've had this phone for like a year already
