Okay because comments were closed for the previous few episodes I’ll give my opinions so far here: The writing is actually very good! The banter between ammar and Maira is so fun and realistic, they actually seem like siblings who love each other very much. I love how detailed the side characters ki personalities are, I especially love Fatima’s neighbor Mrs Malik and Farhan, he’s such a good friend and a hasmukh person, I feel really bad for his business dissolving and hope he can get back on his feet soon! Ammar is just some guy and owns it, which is the best part of his character. He’s stubborn and a bit short sighted, like his argument with his dad in the beginning of the drama, he was wrong but couldn’t see it. But he’s trying his best, which is what makes him a good person. He’s trying for his dad, for Natasha, for everyone, even tho those things are difficult for him. My favorite character is definitely his father, he’s so sweet and kind and I love his relationship with Fatima especially, I’m so glad she has a father figure as unconditionally loving as him! Maira is also a great character. Of course she’s entitled and sometimes bratty, but that’s because she’s very privileged and was brought up that way. Uss Ke ilawa she’s so smart hard working funny kind and so considerate of her parents. The fact that she wanted to help her father with the business since the beginning shows how mature and capable she is. She’s so cute I love her. Natasha is an interesting character because her mom is horrible but despite that she’s reasonable. She answers her mom logically every time Saima blames her husbands death on the Fengs, for example. She’s also really witty and talented of course. The fact that she struggles with loneliness is very relatable and it makes me feel for her more. And she also has severe anxiety, which is rarely shown in Pakistani media, I hope the show runners tackle that issue well. Unfortunately ab her character has started devolving a bit, what with her intense jealousy about Fatima which I find so ridiculous. Natasha is a secular liberal person who no doubt has had platonic friendships with guys in the past, she should know better than to be jealous. Especially because ye concept of platonic friendships between men and women is normal in USA which means ammar genuinely sees Fatima as his childhood friend and colleague, nothing more. Another thing I like about ammar is his aversion to marriage, I’m with you ammar!!!!
