I love watching you bowl. Your form is so good. You have speed control and can trick it with your hand at the bottom. So inspirational and a joy to watch and learn from.
Fun to watch. I bought the IQ Tour Ruby a few weeks ago. First thing I did was get rid of the Reacta Shine and the pro shop polished it with KR Strikeforce polish. This ball seems to hook just at the right place on the lane for me. I usually did well with the old IQ Tour 30, but it cracked in half about 5 years ago. Glad I finally decided to pick this one up. Congrats on the "W"!!!
You won on conditions that require the ultimate skill, not a five board margin. Congratulations!
You definitely get a ATTABOY for that one. You didn’t get frustrated and made the necessary adjustments. Nice job. 😊
Pretty dramatic music for the last game.... great bowling!! Thanks for the video and look forward to seeing Az....
I would love to bowl in one of these tournaments to see the experience.
Congratulations Forrest!! Awesome to see you win a tournament!!
Nice job Forest!!! 🤘......it was cool to see the adjustments. Always good to look up at the monitor and see ppl shooting nowhere near you on a big game 🤣. Congrats!
Yay! You broke through and sustained it all the way to the win. Great job Forrest! 👏
Around here, standard bowling pins have been 3lb-9oz, 3lb.-10oz for decades.
I can't believe how hard it would be with a sport shot and heavy pins. Really appreciate the currently throwing piece. That IQ ruby looks nasty!
Good job switching your release for spares and your release in general looks a lot better.
Forrest is such a nice guy and throws it great. I'm an old guy and just hope I can get one or two off my hand like him during a game.
We used to have a tournament that had a tournament over several weeks using four pound pins, Limited to people averaging 188 and under, because you were considered a pro at 190. 1st prize every year $25,000! When bowling was very popular!
I remember watching the PBA use gold pins back in the day.
Your videos get better each upload. I can't wait for your channel to blow up. Great stuff. Loved every second. Wish you the best my friend.
I remember in the early 2000s when I worked & bowled tournaments for years. The one pin that was VERY frustrating was the "synthetic pins." The bottoms were around 2 inches wide and flat as a pancake. Out-of-range out the butt! I've seen leaving a 4 pin & it slide all the way to the 6 pin spot standing up. Crazy!!!
I wonder if forest ever runs into people at a bowling alley when playing for fun because he always poses and hops into the lane on his left 🤣🤣
Couldn't finish watching til I got home from bowling. CONGRATS and so proud of you.
Big fan of your videos. You’re a great bowler.
Love seeing Forrest pop off with the red ball, then all the red balls come out lol
Congrats on the win, I love watching you and 220 bowl, you guys inspired me to start doing bowling videos myself, if I ever make it to Dublin California I would love to bowl on that tournament, keep it up!
That Ruby should be in your bag everywhere you go.. bought one because of you and have my highest scores this year with it
It is in the bag everywhere I go. I never leave without it. Awesome to hear you are having success with it as well!
After some of your recent performances at tournaments I’d have said to you “keep the faith, keep believing” because I sure do believe in you, I knew you could win a tournament. To win a tournament is great but to do it on a tough pattern coupled with heavier pins makes it even better. Like you said this is a confidence booster for the regional tournament in Arizona, onwards & upwards for you. #TeamForrest
Congrats Forrest. Nice to see you bowling well going into the first Regional of the year. Let's freakin' go!!!
Congratulations! So proud of you. It was only a matter of time. Good job. May God continue to bless your path.
If you want some weird pins, think back to the 80's, when ABC was testing magnesium pins. I was at a tournament in Wilmington, DE where they had some warmup lanes using them. I was using a 16 lb rubber ball, fingertip, rolling at ~13 mph. I managed a 224 game, quite good for those pins. Next to me was a fellow hotshot bowler. He winds up, lets it fly and plonk, a 5-7-10! ROTFL!
thats bowling. 3 crossovers you can go from missing the cut to the win
Great bowling as usual, idk why you love challenge patterns so much more 😂
Thank you! I love the challenge. Truly tests the skill of the highest level bowlers
My dream is to see you on a televised tournament. Your form is downright poetic. Just amazing. I've steered several friends to your video on how to hook a ball. Last week, one of my friends sent me that same video, not knowing I'd seen it before. He's new at it, but seems really interested, and his wife is also learning, with him.
Thank you Jen. That’s very nice of you. Great to hear you and your friends are getting into the sport more! That’s my goal
@@ForrestKritzer We have the same goal...
The soundtracks on your videos are always absolute fire!
I always loved the gold pins. A center where I grew up had a few sets of them and would bring them out for the stepladder in youth tournaments, so I’ve bowled on them a couple times. I feel like the prevailing opinion was that it was a dumb fad when they used them on Tour, but I wish they’d bring them back. Quite frankly the Tour could benefit from even heavier pins. 4 lb Platinum Pins would be amazing.
Congrats on the win. I miss bowling the Gold Pin.
We be seriously balling when the gold pins appear
Regulation pins should be heavier. The balls are too strong nowadays.
Congratulations Forrest on a great win! Now….lets talk about League night…😂😂😂
Congrats Forrest good luck at the next one
I used to bowl in a league that had those gold pins, in the early 2000s, left a ton more corner pins.
Small tip if you want it or not. Focus on that shoulder drop you tend to do. It'll definitely help keep your ball on target instead of pushing those extra couple boards right. Glad to see you get the W! They certainly didn't look fun at all lol
Awesome possum!!!!!! Woohoo baby! I always have faith in you! Fantastic tournament .. congratulations Forrest!!!
Super super happy for you!
Congratulations to you on your win. I really liked those Brooklyn strikes, I just couldn't figure out why you kept switching balls in that last game and now I know.
Congratulations Forrest!!
Congratulations brother! Keep on getting wins now. Lighter pins in other tournaments and could be an easier pattern also! Bravo!
Congratulations on the win!
Love the content! Keep on posting. Way to grind out the tough victory!
Just got home from league, shot my first 700, and now I have a video to watch before bed! Perfect night!
Congrats!🎉
I think the heavy pins I bowled on once before were 5 lbs if I'm not mistaken. This in between weight looks pretty fun actually.
Good to see you get a W! Congrats!
Congratulations Forrest! I've always wanted to bowl the Gold Pin at EADB and maybe now I'll check it out one month. Thanks for the video and as always great bowling!🙂
6:07 hurt my feelings
Congratulations man well deserved
Congrats Forrest! Great bowling. Awesome win.
Nice Win! Great challenge every month. 😊
Way to go Forrest!!! You are the man!!!!
Congrats dude that's fantastic.
Congratulations on the win, continued success to you!
Would love to do a doubles with u sometime Forrest kritzer
Congratulations Forrest! Nice going and a tough pattern and with the heavy pins. I never seen the heavy pins, they did look like the carry is different. Congratulations again! I have ask, where is Brittany? I haven’t seen her in a video lately, hopefully everything is OK and we see one of your challenges soon! Ken
Thank you! Brittany will be doing some new ball reviews with me soon
Love the content Forrest. Much love.
Great win, sir!! Hell yeah!
Congratulations, and well done 👏🏻👏🏻👍🏻
I love the gold pins. Id love to have one as a nice display item
I’m curious, does a tournament like this where they use heavier pins have any effect when you transition back to the lighter pins. Like is there a noticeable difference in carry, is the pin action different, does the ball motion change driving through the pins because of the weight difference?
Thanks for the peak behind the curtain forest
Cool video talk tech bowling tournament Forrest
Happy for you man. Congrats! Looked like you were losing the ball a little bit early on, and then seemed like you got more comfortable and started trusting it. Those couple Brooklyn’s didn’t hurt. :) Great bowling on tough conditions.
That stone 8 was disgusting. It didn't move a millimeter.
I know☹️
Congrats!! Question though are you on staff with JoPo grips now?
Thank you! And yes
Congratulations! Very much deserved
Congratulations 🎊🎈🎉🍾 on the win.
They won't move the center of gravity of a pin back toward the base, so this is the next best thing. I thought there were also Linds pins that were sorted into two weight buckets, with the "heavy" batch being 3 pound 8 up to 3 pound 10 oz, and the "light" batch 3 pound 6 oz up to 3 pound 8 oz.
Didn't there used to be a center in California with a welcome sign reading "Heaviest pins in the world" and they were something like 3 lb. 15 oz.? I know Packy bowled on *five* pound pins in one video but there are very few of those.
Great bowling.
Brunswick really needs to bring these pins back like literally 😢. Those pins still sound nice the way the condition they are and how old and i would def absolutely bring the amf majic line and the yellow dot in this tournament or a old fab hammer purple urethane
holy moly the brooklyns
Congrats! Now, lets get that PBA regional W. Good luck!
When is the next one? I live an hour away and this would be so cool to do. If you don’t mind sharing
Congrats! Nice bowling.
We need to 1v1 now
Are you the guy that drills bowling balls in trees?🧐
No
You always have the best music by the way. Great taste in music.
Thank you! That means a lot🥹
Nice Job! 🎉
See you in Arizona for the First PBA Regional of the year.👍👍
Congrats on the W 👏
Too bad the summit smells like snickerdoodle and not nutterbutterz..
W BABY! Great job Forrest
Did you change your back swing and make it higher or slow down your approach recently?
I’m constantly fine tuning things in my game
I want to play this tournament with a 6 lb ball!
Old pba pins
I'm 5 minutes in and you should have changed balls 5 minutes ago.
Congratulations
got that W baby!!! good stuff!!!!
That summit a piece of shit.....prolly y u opened 190 182 lmaoooo
i thought 10 pound per pin lol
Are we gonna see you and 220 use a 20 pound ball with these pins??
I’m down
@@ForrestKritzer awesome! You 2 definitely deserve more subscribers
How heavy were the PBA gold pins from a while back?
Same weight as these ones I believe
8 pin 9 pin why wouldn't you just throw strike shot 😂😂
It’s not consistent to hook at your spares, especially on a sport pattern
Awesome great win
Way to get that W! Keep grinding
This pins are nothing compared to Mag Pins. They are heavier, lower center of gravity, and make a "ping" sound when your ball hits. Carry is much harder than even these gold pins. Even on modify house shots, scoring pace is typically very low. The sound they make though is what TRULY makes for a unique experience.
Nice W
Great job. Just started following you. Can you start telling everyone how much you win $$, in these tourneys? Thanks
Thank you. This tournament paid $1,000. I put up $300
What was the entry fee and top prize? Also how much did 278 pay for high game pot?
I put in $300 in total. I got back $1,000
@@ForrestKritzer terrible money for a day’s work… but good bowling.
