I find it very interesting, in the og lore Koopa made a deal with PS135. Letting him live in return for everyone else on Dino Island (INCLUDING his kids and troops) to die, I like to imagine that Koopa returned realizing that yes he is a bad guy but is he really gonna allow his kids to die?
