I hope I was able to articulate my thoughts well in this video and get my message across. This one is really just from the heart and I wanted to be 100% honest with where my mindset is at. But in case there is any confusion, I have *not* quit music, I’m planning on releasing new original songs before the end of the year, and I’m happier than ever pursuing my passions in gaming and streaming on Twitch. I’m learning how to balance doing both things that I love, and I’m grateful for anyone that chooses to stick around and support me. ❤️

Hello Brittin. I just have to say wow !!! First time here and I also checked out lonely neighborhood, beautiful music you are very talented but I know what your going through with changing tracks. I use to be in many bands played a lot of places in northern calif, I been playing guitar since 9 yrs old taught to me by my step brother back in the 60s. I've never heard such a beautiful voice in my day. a couple of the bands I was in after a yr I had to take a break because it became redundant every night playing the same songs from a song list we learned of around 160 songs that we could choose for the night and the crowd. Yup it was fun playing on a stage but it started getting to where it was losing it's glory playing each night. and I stopped for a few months. I can't describe in words of what I felt during those times but when I came back I had a completely new taste for writing new material and a joy of inventing new arrangements. There was a time in the 70s that a friend invited me to the Catalyst in Santa Cruz calif. The friends sister had a boyfriend that was a body guard of John Lennon when at the time he was banned from coming to the states. Well we gathered at a table and leaned in and told us to keep an eye open for Lennon cuz he was suppose to come through. As he was telling us the place was crowed because Mahogany Rush (Frank Marino ) was playing that night and as I looked up I watched a guy walk in with those tiny glasses , a leather brimmed hat. brown leather coat. and I sat there in amazement sort of stunned. and finally said to the guys " there he is " lost in the crowd we all rose up and finally found him took john back to the house and we sat until 5am talking and playing music as we all had acoustic guitars. It was something I'll always remember. We didn't have cell phones and computers than sometimes I wish at that time I could of taken photos from that time. Just some of the experiences I had in my journey in life.. Brittin, Thank you for your beautiful music and you as a person. Keep doing what content you want to make! I remember finding you through your music and covers, but I totally understand the transition and I’m glad you are doing something you find joy in as well. I used to love music a lot too, but got massive burn out and can’t even find myself to pick up an instrument. So keep your chin up, and keep doing the content you want to do. Don’t push yourself to do content that is causing you hurt, I’m glad that I personally made to transition to streaming myself as well.
That's exactly where I was too! I couldn't even force myself to pick up my guitar or play my piano. I started playing again this month for the first time in several months. Burnout is tough, especially when it's something you used to enjoy so much! But that's why breaks are so important and having other passions and hobbies as well. Happy to hear you found passion in streaming as well!

Gaming for me is not only great fun, but also very relaxing, you forget about everything else and just focus on it. Anything creative, may it be music, writing or something else is also enjoyable and can be relaxing, but it can also come with pressure, a feeling you are forced to be creative all the time. But that's not how it works, there are dry spells where you are not motivated and find it more of a chore as you mentioned. So you are doing the right thing, going with the flow and doing what you enjoy, keep up the good work!
