Hi, would you get this one or the Beko FRL 5388B? The Beko one has 2 friers so you can cook fries and chicken for example at the same time without 1 of the food getting cold. Is that worth paying 2x the price for?
If you would ask me for a personal opinion, I would always stick to Philips. Don't worry about the food getting cold. You can again toss it in for a minute and it should be good to eat.
Go for the one which I have shown the demo for. The link to buy is in the description of the video. The reason why I am suggesting this is because it has manual controls which are less prone to damage and it is very easy to use. For cooking appliances, I would always suggest manual controlled ones as the digital ones have a chance of getting damaged.
Our air fryer is almost the same, but its been long time has a problem, when we set time and temperature then we press ok to start working, but it turns off atomically in addition it show only dots in the screen, its not showing time left as before. Do you think you can help with matter?
I have the same aur fryer, please guide how to cook veggies and especially how to reheat food, for reheating can I put glass utensil inside like microwave!?
Nice review! What are the basket dimensions? All manufacturers specify the volume, but the length and width are more interesting, the food is not cooked in a thick layer.
Thank you. You can find the dimensions here on the product detail page - amzn.to/3iUlBMH. Do not worry about the food not getting cooker properly. Philips Air Fryers are amazing and will give you the best quality output. 😎
I've used a manual Air Fryer even before buying this Philips Air fryer. With a digital one, you can precisely set time and temperature. With these manual knobs, it's a bit difficult to set things precisely. If budget is not a constraint, go for the digital one. Check this digital air fryer by philips - amzn.to/3JX8Lat
@@NeetaSable-y3g I prefer the round button manual version. Screen touch is expensive and there are slight chances of things going bad. Manual controls are always better and long lasting. It may not be very precise to operate, but a few degrees here and there and a few minutes here and there is okay while cooking.
Yes, the basket can be cleaned using water and a mild liquid like Vim. Just ensure that you do not use a harsh scrubber as that will damage the non-sticky surface of the basket.
Just a TIP...you do not need to flip them..The air circulates evenly when cooking..so do not put it 10 minutes and open it. just put the total minutes and cook it at whole..You should not open and close.
I think it depends on food quantity, if it is single layer of food you're right but if it's a lot of potatoes on top of each others it may need to check and flip.
There's no power on-off button as such on the air fryer. However, if you think your cooking is done, you can turn off the main power supply to the device.

@@TheGlovesManso is it ok to take out the basket in between as there are no power buttons. Will it harm the appliance? Or should I lower the temperature?
Just put it on a lower temperature and run it for a minute or two. Make sure that you use appropriate cookware as this is not a microwave. Since it blows heat, you'll have to put cookware that can bear heat.
Unfortunately, you cannot readjust the timer once it is set. What I do is, I turn off the device itself after a certain time if I accidentally set it for more than required time.

philips airfryer is too good to buy we recently bought it ,I tried just brushit a little oil on the top it good for cholesterol n save the oil too...go for it
For this manual control air fryer, there is no way to reset the timer. I would recommend you to use an external digital timer to track the actual cooking time and then when the time is over on that external timer, you can turn off the Air Fryers power supply itself.
