The Durango REALLY surprised me. The Bel-Aire bar is extremely nice and the hotel’s lobby is gorgeous. …..For those wondering, my sister who lives in Malibu (and a condo in Calabasas) visited me in Las Vegas and I took her to the Durango, she was VERY impressed (and she frequents L.A.’s top places like The Polo Lounge, Chateau Marmont, and The Four Seasons Westlake Village, and Nobu Malibu).

Love Durango! Went there with my mom last month and spent a few hours just hanging out and enjoying the different parts of the casino. I love that there is natural light! My mom did mention it was a bit smokier than she was used to, but we’re from Seattle where like nobody smokes cigarettes.

Was there back in June. I was by myself so I stuck to gambling (I lost) and had a sandwich at Uncle Paulie's, which was pretty good. I did like the sunny interior. It was a nice excursion off-Strip, though I don't expect to be headed back on any future tips. Still, your vlog--always sharp--makes it an appealing visit for a local and I'm sure if I lived in the area, I would probably be a frequent visitor.

I checked, and Durango is just a short drive (or Uber ride for those of us who fly in and don't rent a car) from The Strip, and would provide a great change of scenery for a day. By the way, great editing, Dale! Your editing skills have really become elevated over the years with all of the various wipes and dissolves you incorporate. Keep the content coming!

the summer house has a greeen chili burrito and a vegan one for my GF. we are soooo there next time we go to Vegas. I love your videos very in depth and not rushed like most of these RUclipsrs out there.

The Durango’s first year has definitely been a huge success and by all aspects, it’s a beautiful property. I love The George’s outdoor bar - and look forward to the day I can sip a bourbon and play video poker there under the balmy summer night stars. The only thing I’m not a huge fan of, is how bright the casino is; it’s like the work lights have been left on, and the magical allure of the glowing slot machines is completely lost, in my opinion. That said, it’s definitely a place I’ll visit when we live there - it just probably won’t be our go-to for entertainment. Red Rock is probably always going to be the mothership on that side of the valley. GREAT video, as usual! 🙌🏻
I always split my stays between Sam's Town and the Silverton. Had planed to check out the Durango but never made it there. I will have to try and make it there on my next Vegas trip.
Love this anniversary video. I visited there on Dec. 3 really enjoyed it. I’m from Ohio. Definitely recommend it. Will revisit next years trip. As always a honest review ❤
If you're into steam punk you need to visit Beatty Nevada. There's a whole bar that's steam punk there. I love your videos but some of the transitions in the editing hurt my eyes. The ones that spin out quickly especially. Just letting you know, the content is amazing.
Definitely not! He has been a musician/entertainer all his life, and working at night, winding down in the wee hours, sleeping later in the mornings is a way of life for him. 😊
Yep...I would have ditched the traditional English breakfast (& its utterly boring flavors that any coffee shop could likely match) & dive into their signature Mexi-Cali dishes for breakfast. Seems like a wasted opportunity...looking forward to a little more culinary adventure next time ; ) Enjoy the videos as always.
