Loved your observation about Stevie's words of advice... where you remarked "It takes courage to speak it and wisdom to live it." Stevie lived it. He invites us to love one another... and asks "Are you with me?" Yes, Stevie,, we're with you!
👏🙌🎉🪅🎊‼️I enjoyed your reaction very much to this quintessential and heart felt song Stevie wrote about the sudden passing of his good friend Charley Wirz, a Dallas guitar show owner who built that beautiful white guitar for Stevie. I dont think you noticed that he started out with a red guitar that was not going to stay in tune and he immediately signaled for a switch. He swapped out guitars so seamlessly most people don't notice. Stevie was just as stellar a human being as he was a guitar virtuoso. He did live his beliefs and loved everybody. Thanks for bringing this today. May I recommend another song Stevie composed Riveria Paradise from Austin City Limits 1989. He created it after his own rehab and recovery and dedicates it to all those still, suffering in any way. It is a soothing balm for the soul🎸🎶💯. It should not require a filter BTW.
He actually lost a tooth when he played with his teeth. You can see him looking for it on the stage. Then he looks off stage and says "I lost a tooth" "It's gone!".
1 John 4:20 Whoever claims to love God yet hates a brother or sister is a liar. For whoever does not love their brother and sister, whom they have seen, cannot love God, whom they have not seen. 1 Corinthians 13:4-8 Love is patient and kind; love does not envy or boast; it is not arrogant or rude. It does not insist on its own way; it is not irritable or resentful; it does not rejoice at wrongdoing, but rejoices with the truth. Mark 12:30-31 30 "Love the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your mind and with all your strength". 31 The second commandment is this: "Love your neighbor as yourself." There is no commandment greater than these.
No,he wasn’t...he was talking about a man being dragged by a pick up truck down south! Get your facts straight! Oy Vey! I am 71, I was around back then, I remember the news!
It was a bit mumbled but he said what happened to 3 of their friends, was in another part of the country, down South ( they were in NJ in this moment) to wherever in the world (apartheid reference) where people push people down so both statements are true✌️💙
IMO, the rain droplets are the least annoying of the masks/filters employed by reactors so as to not risk a video being blocked or getting a copyright strike. But I understand that seeing/hearing SRV in crystal clarity is what we'd all choose. I'm just grateful to have the original video to enjoy in the first place and reactions to it that introduce others to the pure gift of Stevie Ray Vaughan... so I'll not complain.
Brings me to tears every time. There will never be another SRV. ❤
Love Stevie❤🎉❤
Stevie ray Vaughn, one of the great ones.....
Truly a beautiful song, great choice.

In the speech he was talking about Apartied..

He said in some other country. Or the mother country. That sounds like it could be Africa but who knows. His message applies for a lot of events
