This young lady is like a cat - she always lands on her feet,. Her agility and balance are amazing. I wish I knew how to score gymnastics - I'd then be able to understand how the score could be that low!! It's definitely not at the same level as Fan Ye's routine ... but it was excellent none the less. Score was too low!
@bbhouk1 If you're referring to the male commentator in this video, I don't think it's Bart, and it does not remotely sound like him since Bart sounds very like Tim Daggett. But yes, the female commentator is Amanda.
@CHOWCWT it's tasha schwikert, she doesn't know any other adjectives than "huge" and "beautiful" if you watch the whole comp her and bart get really annoying
Ponor is always so solid and confident on beam but how can the female commentor describe her Onodi as "beautiful"? It looks stiff and.....slow. Just compare it with the one performed by Ling Jie and Ana Pavlova and it's easy to tell the difference.
she is sooooo pretty. her gymnastics looked good that year as well. nice form.

@bbhouk1 Tasha Schwikert was actually competing at this Worlds not commentating lol. I think this was Amanda Borden commentating
I thought her score should've been higher. Did she start from a 10?
i think the judges did not give her the bonus for the connection at 0:51 (change leap + kotchetkova)
how did people decide between this and fan ye's routine???
Not sure if she got credit for her switch leap to Kotchekova combination. Her 9.587 seems a bit low when she usually scores around 9.7.

I think its Peter Vidmar, actually.
@schill2002
oh sorry, i had just transitioned from the 2007 worlds. forgot this was 03. :D
yes ¿What was her score?

Did she win anything?
William Lishman Silver medal.

Thought her style was generic and bland. Can't believe she won a gold medal at the Olympics???
She was a formidable talent on beam.
