He only has a very small window to play with his dad. He'll get his chance to find his way when LeBron retires.

If he truly wants to separate himself for his dad. Having a College career will separate him.

I’m sure they were going to cut him that’s why he declared. He averaged 4 points a game in garbage time

If he hates the fact and wants to be an individual, we can all understand. I think we can all agree when he’s 30, and the opportunity is no longer there to play with his father he will regret if he doesn’t. Who cares Bonny you got a leg up, so what. Everyone that works in banks, Wall Street, etc… got legs up. Your dad did his job, put you in a situation to be successful, let ppl say whatever. Ride the wave that was given to you. Play with your dad, you never truly be respected as a great in basketball regardless, that narrative will never leave you. Play with your dad win a chip, that way of saying thank you to your dad for creating that opportunity for you.

I've never seen anyone with an easier path to the nba. I hope the guys who actually deserve a contract get selected instead of it being a popularity contest. I digress though, it's foolish of me to hope people would apply common sense.
