Wo tho acha hoowa... that i wriggled out with much difficulty, from that phase and did my Master in a difficult subject like Economics... So almost 50 years down the line, I watch him and the other great personalities, like you and Mumtaz ji ( Great respects for both of you)... I feel so delighted... Long live you all....🙌🙌🙌❤️❤️❤️.... I am also witness to the incident when he was unfortunately arrested outside Chinese restaurant in Quetta by DSP Rehmatullah Niazi. He was boozing sitting in car. They had come for shooting. I was Lecturer at University of Balochistan and knew the DSP as friend. I tried to rescue him. But he had misbehaved and bat his hand. DSP slapped him for that. It was Zia ul Haq time. Lt. Gen Afridi was corps commander. Actor Badar Munir helped him as he requested and struggled for his release.
In 1973, during my academic tenure at Aitchison College in Lahore, I had the pleasure of watching the iconic film "Gharana," starring Shahid Hameed and Shabnam. Today, I reflect on that nostalgic memory from my student days as a PhD economist residing in the United States. May Allah swt Bless you ! You look still young in your 74 years age !!

Wonderful surprise for me today. So nice to see people who wroked together then, and are still able to get together in a nice atmosphere. Great film stars and worthwhile film stories make great stars. Although Shahid sahab's talented son does politically controversial tv shows and takes stick for that, but having a son myself I can say children do their own thing, and justify themselves, nothing to link father and son in their views. May Allah give Pakistan's stars long life and prosperity. Perhaps soon we will see them more in tv dramas, which are proving more popular than movies.
We used to watch your movies in our childhood. Our problems maked us old faster than you, yet listening to you takes us back to our childhood. You all did an amazing job. I used to watch one or two movies every week without fail. Those were really good times, both for us and for you.

In 1970 suppose you came after passing your matriculation, even then you must be at least 15 years old.Then 1970 to 2024 (inclusive both years) come to 55 years plus 15, it becomes 70. I was in Aitchison and his son was 1 year Junior to me, Kamran Shahid! I met Shahid in Shezan, 2002, when I was applying for PAF! Now I'm in the Army!
