Pretty good car, actually. Comfy, quiet, well equipped and very nice to drive. It also has dampers with hydraulic stops, so the chassis work very well on broken roads.

Excellent video. 0-100 km/hr seems to be around 7.8-8.0 seconds which is great for a 1.6 tonne diesel SUV.
this engine is 2L 180 hp diesel

The 2.0 Diesel is great, but probably a higher tax band.
I think that car it's luxurious. It doesn't make much noise, it isn't a racing car but the suspension system is amazing. It's a car designed to drive many km with comfort.
can you share your feedback about the sound quality? does the music sound good enough? also about the body-roll some people talk about. Thank you!
@@jaimeaguila3413 the stereo system could be better, but i suppose people who care about that, can spend 20k more on the DS7. I have not had a problem with body roll. It is not a racing car. Very very comfortable on long motorway drives, with automatic lane keeping function, advanced cruise control, automatically maintained distance to the car infront, automatic gearbox, digital dashboard, automatic head lights, automatic wipers, integration of mobile phone, very clear navigation, automatic detours to avoid traffic, automatic temperature control, voice activated controls and navigation, automatic braking to avoid obstacles (dont test it too often). This is a car for the lazy driver. I can add road sign recognition technology, 2 click update of speed to the new limit. Heated and massage seats too. It also has start stop technology.
It wiggles a lot I woud say. How do you compare its comfort against Mercedes c class ?
Wow, difficult question... C Class is much more relaxing but not so swinging. I would definitely take the C Class, no doubts about it.

Also, why would you buy an suv to drive fast.....there is NO reason. These are comfort cars, not sportcars.
@@tafdiz NOT! A C200 wagon costs the same as this high level 180 hp edition of C5. 57.700 euro for the C-Class and 57.400 euro for the C5. You can get C-Class costs from 50.000 euro with the smaller engines.

How is the automatic? What type of automatic is it?
Regular automatic gear. some countries use 6 others use 8 speed.

@@andersnielsen6044 passat is definitely by at least 10 % more quiet and comfy. But not so practical :-))

I bought 2022 face-lift C5 aircross diesel. I cannot drive this car in jungle, it produce too much noise even running ideal, it disturbs animals. Speed is good for highways, but brakes are scary some combination is not programmed well, It didn't work well in gravel. Overpriced in India.

Agree.. Diesel would be illegal to drive in Europe in less than 5 years.. -No reason to test or consider a diesel these days.. ;)
@@tafdiz It is only when the engine and the filters is new. After only 2 og 3.000 km the filters are so filled, that they actually pollutes just as much "shit" as they did, back when diesels did not even have filters on... :)
