Guitar Alternate Picking: Inside The Strings Picking

@xSLIPKNOTx123 not sure the question. for inside the strings just pick inside the strings. practice the palm mute and alternate picking - it's tough, but possible.

@xSLIPKNOTx123 i guess the answer would be 'yes' - but have the alternate picking naturally fall within the strings. if it doesn't, then don't force it. But if you want to master the technique, then get John Petruccis's video 'rock discipline'

so basicly for alternate picking inside the strings you just have to find which string will be up? I notice in some of Killswitch Engage's songs there is a lot of alternate picking like the intro to My Curse or Rose of Sharyn. But how do you palm mute and alternate picking?

Somehow when i started learning to play, inside picking just came naturally to me....guess I'm weird like that. Outside is taking a bit more.
