This is making me feel so much better about the recent negativity farmers coming out of the woodwork for GOTY, thank you for reminding me that there are still people out there who value this game for the masterpiece it is.
Dude, I'm stoked that my video could make you feel better! This game is seriously a masterpiece, and it's awesome to find someone who gets it. Keep enjoying and spreading the love! Could I ask what GOTY stand for?
they're not negativity farmers. the game is genuinely not a fun experience for a lot of people, including most of the bigger zeldatubers. the zeldatubers give an unbiased and clear reason why people dont like totk.
true true but it then doesn't make a lot of sense how the game did so well in turns of reviews because obv sales are not a clear indicator of people's enjoyment of a game. @@mrtesticlease4638
A couple of years ago, if I had been asked if I could see myself being a Zelda fan, I would say definitely not. Now after 185 hours in Breath of the Wild and 345 hours in Tears of the Kingdom, I am heavily invested. TotK has become my favorite game of all time, and like others have said here, I am incredibly happy to still see people enjoying it, especially after the wave of negativity from the Game Awards and critiques. I do have a few criticisms of my own, but they are minuscule compared to the amount of sheer love I have for this masterpiece. It IS my favorite game ever, after all. I finished the main story for the first time back in July, at 200 hours of playtime. I played quite a bit more after that before moving on to other games. Thinking about the Game Awards has gotten me back into the saddle, and I’ve already added about 20 more hours. Heck, I’m even considering making a new account so I can start a new game and experience the journey all over again without having to give up my current save file. That’s how much I adore TotK. Back then, people thought they couldn’t top BotW, but guess what? Nintendo is badass and Eiji Aonuma is a genius. This game deserves all the praise it gets. Even as I’m typing this, I’m preparing to take down the final boss for like the 17th time. God bless this game. Thanks so much for making this.
Bro I resonate with this so much i still haven't even beaten totk yet because I don't want the story to end I feel like the game awards were really harsh only giving totk one award and I have no idea how it didn't win game of the year I am really excited to see what Nintendo does for the next installment of the series
I recently have taken about a month break after playing 400+ hours starting on launch night. I literally picked up my Switch and started playing while watching this video. Thank you, and well done 👍
I recently stopped playing totk because 1. I got kinda bored of it cause I got all the shrines done, and 2. wonder recently released. Yet this video has inspired me to delete that save file (I promise I'm not insane trust me) and redo all of totk again, just because of how much I wanted to play it again.
Thanks I could inspire you bro! while I was waiting for totk to release I just replayed botw over and over again with some sort of challenge and that kept me entertained for a long time
Bro this editing is nuts, how does this have only 3k views?? Thank you for praising this masterpiece. It has its flaws, but is the most fun game I've played, and that's what matters most.
This video is so high quality! I thought it came from a channel with like, 100,000 subs or something but no, it's only a thousand!? You deserve more subs!
Thats is true to an extent but if you take a second to realise how expensive a switch is and how not everybody has one and how not everyone is willing to pay 70$ for a single game then you comment makes no sense
@@Gaming_Certified I think they mean the "You've never played" part. That isn't even clickbait though because the game is pretty obvious from the thumbnail. Great editing btw!
@@Gaming_Certified Maybe adding some of the more exciting/fun parts of the game like the Mucktorock fight. Or maybe some irony/footage that contrasts to whatever you're saying. Y'know, some hypocrisy with a really abrupt cut. I might just have a weird taste though. Whatever you're doing looks great anyways. Besides, 1k subs with only 2 videos is pretty sick! I can't wait to see what you'll pump out when you get bigger1
@@Gaming_Certified species are a group of organisms that have the same set of genes with slight differences for example a lion is a species of ‘cat’ therefore totk is allowed to say all the gloom variants of the previously used enemies are now more NEW “enemies” when they’re just the same thing with gloom
Amazing video, it has criminally low views and likes and everything else, the quality is top tier. 10/10. (just avoid the clickbait next time though please?)
Yo thanks for the amazing feedback! I am sure the vid will get more views soon and I know this might be a stupid question but how is it clickbait? cuz ppl keep saying it is and I am not sure why
@@Gaming_Certified the video is called "the best game you haven't played" and one of your first points is how it broke sale records in 3 days. so like chances are we did play it. the title insinuates that it's an obscure or forgotten game, but we all know it and have probably played it. The title of the video is completely different from its content
@@Gaming_Certified perhaps something referring to its differences to the original game? like "why tears of the kingdom makes botw seem like a tech demo" or something like that
I just noticed.... halfway throught the video... your video is extremely similar to @TheStellarJay's review of tears of the kingdom... ie most of the jokes are similar such as the one where you make a joke about the mountain and it being f*cked up, like i know you guys are both reviewing the same game and obviously you are gonna have the same points you wanna list, and no hate at all... but i find the similarities a bit too coincidental
@@Gaming_Certifiedbro, you presented the same points, you told the same jokes AND you put in the same music. You can’t tell me that you didn’t copied Jay
Honestly I find TOTK overrated. It is a very good game, but the depths just are boring, and have nothing done with them. The sky is fine, the land is great, and the abilities, combat, and building are all amazing. I also prefer dungeons to divine beasts as the fights were just boring and way too easy. Though the bosses are fun, but I preferred the focus on combat from the blights, not just the complete puzzle of the dungeons' bosses. I think the bosses are way too reliant on the abilities to be super fun, though the flying one is very fun. (Not going to even try to spell it)
