Looked at the Huel vs yfood comparison (for the ready to drink products, as that is what I use). I noticed they don't compare 1 bottle vs 1 bottle, but instead 'per 2000kcal of product'. And with Huel being 400kcal and yfood being 500, they were essential giving stats for 5 bottles of Huel vs 4 bottles of yfood. Not exactly a fair fight, and a sneaky way to massage their figures. But then as you mentioned, yfood did a massive sample size of... 12 people for their fullness testing, so they are also no strangers to fudging a bit of data also!
I had the same problem with the Huel powder not not fully dissolving with the shaker but it does seem to work really well if you put it in one of those nutribullet style blenders for 30 seconds and then leave it sit for a few minutes before drinking. Its not as nice as the pre-mix bottles but it is a _lot_ better than if you just use the shaker..
Me I know that I don't have enough protein in my diet, do you think this might help with that? Hey Barry, have you heard about what's been happening to Eliud Kipchoge, with all the wild rumours in Kenya of his involvement in Kiptum's death leading to death threats against him and his family?? It's an awful awful situation ... he said he didn't sleep for 3 days building up to the Tokyo marathon because he was terrified for his family.😦🤦♀
They say it is high in protein. There is 25g of protein in the mix and 35g in the 500ml pre made drinks. So it could help. Shocking what is happening to Kipchoge. A gentle spoken life affirming man of outstanding ability being targeted by I am guessing people of the opposite persuasion. Terrible. Hope his mind gets to rest before Paris.
Right so. I mixed the Happy Banana with 300ml of 4% Low Fat Milk...and taste tested it against one I made with water yesterday that was in the fridge. The one with the milk was much sweeter. Still the same amount of non dissolved particles. Tasted fine, but a little sweet for me, preferred the mix made on water.

Fantastic video. Will try it. Will need to find how to get it in USA. Thanks!!!!
I don’t think it will be long before it is available… but I don’t know. Hope you enjoy it when it arrives!
I agree. Huel taste very bad compared to yFood. The Crazy Coconut is my favorite.

@@OldManRunner THANKS Barry!! Yes the news is shocking and incredibly sad!!!
out of interest Barry, would you mix it with milk rather than water?
I didn’t try that, mainly because I wanted to keep the calories down and test as per guidance. Will give it a go tomorrow…
