Good vid! I have a new OneUP V3 post and want to install the new cable housing it came with, do you have any tips for easy routing? Perhaps use the old cable to guide?
Do you have to switch out the entire cable if the wire snaps off near the lever? Same thing happened to me and I attempted to strip some of the cable housing off to extract more of the inner wire and than rethread through the lever. I ran into a couple of road blocks with that though.
Hi Tim! You can do that if you have enough cable length, in a way that you can push up later your saddle enough (be careful 😁). If yes, you can do that 👌🏻
The cable should be around 10€ and the grease also, but 10€ of grease will last you for years of maintenance operations 😁. Tools are very basic for that, everything is listed on the description

Thanks! Well yes but this depends also by the frame, in my case was quite simple!

Why grease the post?
to prevent oxidation and corrosion, and it also helps you to fit the seatpost into the frame more easily 👌
how much does this cost to do? (cable, grease, tools etc)
