It can take your life at any age, it nearly took me out 2 years ago, and after you recover it can leave scar tissue in your lungs and other damage. I cried when Michael Landon died. It was heartbreaking to see him on Johnny Carson letting the world know of his illness. I watched him since Bonanza as a kid and every show until his death. He was funny and so handsome. We were in Tahoe when his son Michael Landon Jr was filming a second generation Bonanza movie. We rode the elevator at CalNeva Lodge with him. He was very nice. Rest In Peace Michael...you are missed so much

I think she died from complications of diabetes...someone correct me if I'm wrong. Uncle Miltie, created drag, when hardly no one was doing it. Jonathan Winters, did it as well, with one of his characters, grandma. God bless Michael Landon. I remember him playing in his 1st movie: I was a Teenage Werewolf. ok i met Nell Carter when i was 10 i was on a train with her we went from PA to AZ i love that lady i sat with her the whole way my mom let me, my mom and brother were seat behind. i had so much fun with her she tought me a funny song to this day i know it well her mom taught it to her, she signed my notebook. we sat together ate together... i love that lady when she died i cried. im 49 today.. but i will never forget the days i spent with her, she even let me sleep on her shoulder and gave me her blanket my mom told me to leave her alone and she told my mom to let me stay with her,,, i love u NELL rest in peace i will see u again...and yes we were both jewish,,, i love her so much...
Al Jolson's monument was so expensive, his widow had to get a court order to use money from Jolson's estate to pay for it. The cemetery itself added the waterfall.
I remember seeing that Al Jolson tomb from the 405 when I was a fresh-outta-college pipsqueak, living and working my first real post-graduate job in LA, 1990s. I haven’t lived there in many years. I never got out to that cemetery, but I took my parents to Hollywood Forever and Westwood when they came out to visit me - my mom was a huge old Hollywood fan and she LOVED it.
My good friend was best friends with Travis barkers personal aide that was always by travis' side. He also died in the plane crash. He was from roseville california.

Would go to their house regularly for a play date. Their Mom Arlene was SO very nice worked at B of A for many years. Their Dad Gerry was a very close friend to my Dad through Rotary. He was the top head hancho back in the day at The California Restaurant Association. He persuaded me to go to CCA culinary school about 30 years ago. Became a Pastry Chef back in the day.
