You listen too much to the doomsayers. Be it tanks or ships, Wargaming has been around for so long and keeps players entertained that a game like Diablo 4, losing 99% of its playerbase in 3 months, looks like an amateur project. But Blizzard is American and Wargaming Russian, so guess who takes the flak ^^

Subs. They kind of ruin the game for real..
Now if they were made to NOT have homing torpedoes till the t10 submarines. (To be more accurate. Germans invented the Homing torpedoes. U.S.A. shortly afterwards.) And this ridiculous "Shotgun" Machinegun torpedo fire is why tons of players have quit the game.
Subs should stay. But be much less BS. Like make it where you can only fire a torpedo every 2-2.5 seconds. it will hinder submarine meme dev strikes. But it also will make a submarine player who deals with a Destroyer. with more spaces and shot chances to take out a Destroyer. And if the enemy dodges one. the other gets them. Or even forces the enemy to HARD evade. (I actually made a Cruiser go broadside to dodge my many but non-condensed fired torpedoes. And my Yamato ally blew him up hard!)
If you still want this "Shotgun" Machine fire torpedo crap? Maybe a limited consumable that allows you to do that. with a much longer reload penalty time. (Like all torpedoes are fired at once.) A way to allow subs to dev strive. With an all or nothing tactic. While not using the consumable. Just makes you the Submarine to Torture players for pure dope fun.
I hope they will put a limit to the torpedoes so only skilled players will be a threat

Sneaking up on everyone to within 2 kms and then dev striking them. With zero counterplay. Limited only by your own level of potato-ness. This is fine.

@dany1441 Sorry to be rude but I'm just getting sick of these ppl who are always complaining about cvs and subs.
They are boats too, and as an old player, I'm happy they are part of the game.
This is a totally different game play but it's fun to play with them.
There are counters to subs, it's not that hard. Keep on the move, dont park behind an island, change course, use your hydro or radar, team play with your DDs, subs can be as fun as they are frustrating for the opponent but most of the time they die without having contributed to the game. A bad player will have zero success with subs while he can have fun with BBs, and a good player will have a higher impact in any other class than a sub. The problem is not subs, it's the stealth syndrome and, frankly, one can live with that. I've been one shot playing my DesMoines while I knew I was at risk shooting over islands. I take my loss, chuckle and move one, life is too short to be bitter.
@@AllAhabNoMoby if you didn't wrote 2 kms I would have thought you were talking about all the torp DDs in the game. At least with subs you have high risk high reward model, unlike DDs where you have medium risk, highest reward model.

True is just a game. But would you consider it fun if ure the one getting hit? Its not easy if ure trying to enjoy the game but some people ruins it. :/

What about dds?
I wasn't happy when dds appeared in the game too (I'm an old player and was there at the beginning of the game).
They are stealthy too and can sneak in the enemy side and torp you without any chance of spotting them when you're a bb without radar.
How fun it is when you are the bb.
But I dealt with ot without complaining contrary to many other players who were moaning and getting salty.
So actually I was at his place but games evolve, you all should do the same.

This submarine is hard to play because of its low batterie capacity
7.1 km detection range. It's ok in ranked but good luck in randoms with high ship density.
For all those bemoaning subs and cv's, potato quality's channel may be more suitable.

You guys should really balance those subs... Imagine to delete a Tirpitz, yeah a DD could do that too, but the player should be really silly like sail in straight line or rush middle alone, now in this situation, he was just positioning, and a sub sneaked in and deleted it.
Looks cool, looks nice, looks fun to play, but it's still too much OP. Needs more balance...
