Some perfumes are toxic and can kill hamsters or they will not trust you anymore bc they think you are somebody else Hamsters are solitary They hate being togheter so its reccomended to separe them (i dont think they fight when theyre babies) Get a big sized hamster cage with non toxic safe bedding. Hamsters like digging in bedding to make tunnels so add more bedding It is reccomended to change their bedding like after 2-3 months but also left some old bedding so they wont be so scared. I think the reccomended cage size for small hamsters is 70 cm 40 cm Hamster wheel Small hamsters need a 20 cm running wheel Roborovski need 21 cm wheel Idk for syrian, i only owned small hamsters my whole life If their wheel is too small they can get their spine deformed Bathing and hygiene Hamsters shouldnt be bathed in water and soap. Just place a Bowl with special sand. They bath themselves Dangerous things Don't get a wheel with bars, they can get their leg or arm stuck or get hurt. Get some normal wheels and be careful, don't get tiny houses, bowls, etc that have small spaces where they can get their arms or legs stuck. And don't hold hamsters tight, and if they don't trust you, its not reccomended to hold them. They are scared. Hamster's teeth grow their whole life They need special things to chew, to stop their teeth from over growing or there will be issues. From example, i use whimzies that are often used for dog's teeth but they also work for hamsters you know, that things for teeth made of wax and they can have toothbrush or crocodile model. Maybe theres more models And i also use small Dandelion roots (i used translator for dandelion roots idk if i said it good) There was a channel when i was like 7 or 8 that was saying info about hamster care Btw that sound is normal! Hamsters often make this sound bc they are mad or scared
