    Really cool to see that you did R2R SA, did you ever consider doing R2R HMO in your time doing R2R? would also love to see a video of some bad/ good experiences when doing sa🤣

      I have some. I moved into buying property in 2018 so that’s been the main focus since then rather than the R2R stuff :)

    Hi Ahmed, how did you go about approaching/negotiating with the landlord about the prospect of renting the apartment with the intention of then re letting as SA ? Was it difficult to find a landlord willing to rent there property for that purpose ?..... Im interested in investing in this business model myself.

      I always approached letting agents rather than landlords as I found that easier :)

      Hey Kyle, the best way to to do that is to work with the corporate agencies like Silverdoor, SITU, etc and got longer term bookings. Or ofc, operate outside of London :)

      I had to set up a company to do this. You need to sign company let rental agreements so I wouldn't advise you to take these properties in your personal name:)

    If I go on Rightmove, how do I know which properties have a sub-letting option? or would I need to contact the estate agency?

      There’s no real option for sub-letting. It’s more so about pitching your idea to letting agents.

    Is subletting a rented property on Airbnb legal in the UK?

      In order to rent properties and then ‘sublet’ them onto Airbnb legally, you need to have the correct agreements in place.
      If you were renting a house or flat for yourself, then you would do that using an Assured Short-hold Tenancy (AST) agreement. However, you cannot use that agreement for the purposes of Airbnb. You need to have a company or corporate let agreement in order legally use the property for Airbnb.
      You will also need to set up a limited company before you’re able to use a company let agreement. You can do this for as little as £13.

      ​@ThatAhmedKhan I think its called a commercial sublease agreement, not company let agreement. A company let agreement is for a company that wants to let out to their employees. People are being fed the wrong information.
