Your art supplies are packed beautifully, stacked in a normal, organized way. Mine are ALWAYS dumped, stuck in the bag any way possible. Even my stencils come buckled up, as I have seen others add in the comment section. I think they KNOW who you are! Just enjoy it. It's the way we all should be treated.
@barbaraburg I have experienced the same mish-mash of packing, fortunately nothing has been damaged. They obviously want her as a sponsor so used better packaging. That said, it does not negate the bargains that can be bought from TEMU.
I can’t think poorly of them for pursuing someone to bring sales in. Most everyone treats good customers special. Do they treat everyone fairly…me they have.
Wait, some folks DON'T get excited by art supplies?!?!?? I don't understand 🤔 I just got some of the 5X5" watercolor sketchbooks from Temu yesterday! LOVE them. Great purse size and wonderful paper. $5.39 each in this order. I still work 40 hrs/wk at 69 yrs old and don't have as much time to play as I'd like. So having small watercolor sketchbooks, waterbrushes and tiny paint palette or watercolor markers with me at all times makes use of small snatches of my time. LOVE watching your art hauls and supply reviews. Thanks.

That's been my only gripe... that they don't always package them varefully, def not like these! Wish theyd learn you can't just throw loose stencils in with a bunch of bulky stuff dont work if they're bent, but they're really good about instantly refunding any damaged goods. XO Temu
I have an NEVER gotten somethings so well packaged as what you have received! I recently ordered some tins to put homemade salve in, and out of the 20, eight were damaged😣! They just threw them all in a big bunch, and there was nothing to protect them🤨! I was so disappointed, yet I keep buying from them. I Keep getting lured in by their prices.🤷🏻♀️

Score! So many people have started to by the Bouhong paper that they've raised their prices significantly. I am getting mine off of Ali express for about half the price of Temu.
I’ve ordered mine from an art store in Australia and it was cheaper and a bigger roll. It’s always best to shop around if something appears overpriced.
It depends on which supplier you buy from on temu, some people will have $50 AU on the paper and another will have $9au (about the same in Canadian and $4-5US) Always keep scrolling and you’ll find someone on temu who has it really cheap. Never buy when they get you to spin etc as it will end up dearer than if you didn’t.
This is obviously an older video that I’m just now watching. Just found your channel. 😊Thanks for sharing. It’s always fun buying and sharing your art supplies. I do have one comment. The stuff that you ordered WAS packaged differently than the promo teams shipment to you. Each individual item from the promo team was inside of their nice Temu Ziploc type bags even though they already in their own sealed packaging. . Which did give it additional padding of sorts to protect it during shipping. Everything that came in your separate order was just in its original sealed packaging no special Ziploc type bags. I’ve ordered several times from Timo and I’ve never seen those nice Ziploc type Temu bags before. There have been times that my items could’ve used that added protection.
Yours are packaged a LOT BETTER than any of mine have been from Temu. Mine usually have holes in the packages where they were opened at customs and taped back up. Fortunately, I haven't had anything destroyed so far.
Mine too. I have had holes in my pkgs and they did not have the nice bags in mine. That being said if you get something damaged or that you dislike, they make good on your purchase. I order from there at least once a month.
Sorry to hear that! I've ordered lots of times under a different name and while I've never gotten the zip lock pages, nothings ever been ripped or opened and I've never had anything arrive broken. Hope you issues get fixed for you!
If u get clothing items, they generally come in those bags. Most of my stuff comes from within the US, but I have had several bags taped up. A delivery person said that the bags ripped from them sorting,so they taped it back. There were two that they re-ripped in delivery due to weight of bag, and a few small items had fallen out. Temu immediately gave me the choice to replace the or credit my account. Not everyone knows ,but u can also go to ur order up to a couple of days after delivery and get the difference on any items that have lower prices than when u ordered.
It was so helpful to hear how you felt about the products in use. Most people say 'it's so pretty' or 'that pink doesn't match this other product'. Knowing how the brushes draw water or how much spring they have is so much more useful and the same goes for your comments about the canvases and papers. I feel pretty packaging is a bonus but is there any pigment in the paint is what I need from a review and you did just that without too much rustling too. Thank you so much. That's the best TEMU haul I've watched.

Thanks for the vote of confidence. I try not to let the comment's get under my skin, but that one really bothered me, mostly because of what happened yesterday with the other sponsor. I turned down enough money to pay our whole heating bill for a month in the winter AFTER I'd already done all the work, trying to stay honest for my viewers which was really really hard. And then to get that comment the very next day... It was a lot, I guess. Knowing stuff like that happens on RUclips is a lot different than experiencing it for yourself, I guess. Honey, Your art supplies are great. You did get special treatment on the packing. I order a lot from Temu and I can assure you that my orders are jam-packed in the orange bag with no semblance of order. They are definitely not in ziplock bags. Everything is a hot mess inside of the orange bag. I have loved everything that I have purchased from Temu and will continue to buy from them. You got the royal treatment on this.
Yep. I've done two more videos for them now (one is already up and one is coming,) and I only had the bags for the first video. Plus, all the orders I have placed on my own have had no bags. It was nice while it lasted! :) Still love 90% of the stuff I get there though! And I've only ever had one item arrive damaged! Thanks for watching!

The person who packed your order must love to pack orders with those awesome bags, I have never seen anyone who got this many of those amazing bags, I got quite a few at times but love how they packed yours. Great buys, I have crafted for over 50 years and spent tons of many getting products from Temu, I did my granddaughters wedding decor mostly from Temu, it was so much more affordable. Happy this order made you so happy, I love opening mine when the bags come. I am in South America right now v but ship my orders to my sister and she said , girl the closet is full, I must have over 20 bags to open. That will be fun
I got some absolutely stunning brush pen fountain pens, they have the piston to pull up ink or can use ink cartridges, but instead of the fountain pen nib they have a brush nib. They're soooo nice and were under £2 each! I've had to return one item before and it was free to send back and only took a few days for them to reimburse the money, they also give you a £5 voucher if your order doesn't arrive within the said time (I had it once where it came a few days late - as soon as it hit the last day in the expected time they automatically messaged me and said 'sorry, here's £5 credit' so I didn't even have to chase them down for it) I've ordered from them three times now and have been happy each time. They have great deals on stickers, I've got multiple 50 packs of stickers for like 89p!

I actually use temu too, I have not been disappointed with my purchases, I get fabric, beads and sewing supplies mostly, but the camping items have been great too. Your supplies look so exciting.

I find it interesting in their promotional package they sent you, that every piece was put in one of those nice bags. The second bag you ordered was more typical of how Temu sends orders… no nice Temu bags🙂

I got the little watercolor book 18:18, and there AWESOME! Ive actually gone back and bought all the design's because in the first week I owned the first book, I used up the entire book!!!! I filled it full of watercolor tree's! I just loved it so much I couldn't stop painting in it! I painted day and night! It's a good thing actually that Im bed/wheelchair bound because I was painting in bed, very comfortable, and didn't have to worry much about falling asleep in the middle of a painting, LOL! I love TEMU, and they have some STUNNING watercolors! Including pearls, metalics, vintage colors, just all sorts of color sets that are just beautiful. I now have a stunning 120 color set that I put together customized by buying all of the Temu color sets and combining them into one large custom box! Till i had a mega watercolor set including all the standard colors, + vintage, pearls, metalics, everything you could possibly want, AND about 30 custom colors i made over the years. My biggest problem was finding a tray big enough to hold THAT MANY pans & half pans.

But the distinction is, this one wasn't paid for by me! :) I actually haven't paid for any art haul videos since the one where I said it was my last one (which is the one that says part two on the front). And actually, I filmed this back in May so it did take some time to get approval for. I haven't bought a single art supply with my own money since May 28th. I'm trying to be on a "no spend" for art supplies until August! So far, I'm still going strong!

I totally agree! And when I picked out the supplies I wanted to try, I tried to pick ones I thought I would be happy with, which were mostly, like you said, the basics. I didn't pick any watercolor paints, because I'm picky about those, you know what I mean?
Love Temu arts supplies. I've bought a few pencil sets from there. They have been good. And Diamond Paintings, Markers, pens. I Love Temu. Love their coloring books too.

Hullo Amy, I have been lured in to a TEMU purchase too! If you look at the second line on your watercolor block there is HP and it is Hot Press paper. I have the Baohong Artist and professional grades blocks both are 100% cotton but the Artist grade is almost double the price, but I just don’t believe that they are worth double value. Both are much cheaper than Arches block by quite a bit! I am going to buy a block from Stonehenge to compare to the rest of the papers I have purchased. Thank you for sharing your experience with us. Temu also has some really great storage options for art\craft supplies 👍🏻. I don’t think the nicer plastic bags come in “regular” orders, I’ve only seen them on you tube orders. (I have ordered about 4 times and never received one)
I've had loads, and kept them all for storing other things, and I'm not a RUclipsr, or anything of that ilk, so they definitely send them to "ordinary" people....

And, while i know you could only give initial impressions, it does seem that the quality was by and large very acceptable - and there is no doubt at all about the pricing being extremely attractive. For personal reasons, it's unlikely I will purchase from Temu but I'm really pleased that they came through for you with good quality items in your shipment. And of course for anyone on a restricted budget it provides a way to obtain art-making supplies that might otherwise remain out of reach - which has to be a positive thing. It was great to see you having such a good time diving into the bag of goodies - enjoy them over the upcoming months and do let us all know how well some of them are holding up after a few months use. I actually really was very happy with everything I got quality-wise, except for the oil pastels. They were disappointing but not a fail. Someone else said they think they are the student grade Mungyo oil pastels and not the professional grade, which would make sense. And yep, I hear you on the personal reasons. Everybody has to do what they feel comfortable with in the long run. We all do our best to live by our values that are important to us, and we shouldn't compromise them. I do feel that a lot of art supplies are out of the price range that a lot of people can afford, and I know, because for a long time, I was one of them. I don't think price should be a barrier for people who want to create art. And just because they start out buying supplies at a certain price point doesn't mean they will have to stay at that same price point for the rest of their lives. Many of these products were a really affordable entryway into better quality art supplies. And it sure was fun to unbox, open and use everything! The products that you received I have never seen on Temu. I have used the Baohong student-grade watercolour paper. The quality is excellent and when it first came out it included a green paper removal tool. The goat hair brushes are one of my favourites as they are close to an acrylic brush but hold more water and paint. Recently, there has been some controversy concerning Temu messing with your computer. I have not found any problems with my computer so far.
To me it seems like the difference in the two packages is the packaging. Most things I get come in cellophane -type plastic that has hard-to-find openings. Clothing comes in zip-lock bags which I reuse in various ways. I do save the cellophane bags and the outer packaging bags (orange or black.) I often make crafts from recycled or repurposed materials and I fill open spaces inside of things with them and also use them when mailing packages as cushioning or space fillers. I have received a few duds. I couldn’t find my hole puncher so bought a new one that doesn’t cut even a thin piece of paper. Just found my old one which can punch through mat board. A leather hole puncher fell apart and a hack saw doesn’t stay together. A few items arrived broken and Temu credited my account quickly. It was easy to return a few items ( just have to print out return labels and drop them at the Post Office.) I have spent maybe $1000 there and almost everything was good.or great. I have purchased clothing, shoes, & household/garden items, but mostly art & craft supplies. I have one suggestion and that is to always look for sizes and use a ruler with inches and mm or cm to see how big items will be. Often the photos make them look much larger. With clothing, don’t go by sizes, but pull up the size chart and buy by measurements. A “large” or “medium” for example can vary widely between products.

It depends on what I'm painting and where. If I'm working at my easel, I almost always use a long handled brush. Desk work it can go either way. Yes, the Gallery pastels you have from Blick are the "Artists' soft oil pastels" whereas the ones from Temu are just " Artists' oil pastels." Mungyo does have an even more budget oil pastel labeled "Oil pastels for artists."

I wanted to order that watercolor paper block, the pretty art journals and canvases but wasn't sure. I spun the wheel on the app and got an even deeper discount percent off. Im putting an order for art supplies because some other things I want to try as well. Exciting I've been seeing such good reviews for Temu. Like Pan Pastels was bought by Golden and they jack up price big time so Im going to be trying out the oil pastels soon.
I've gotten three non-sponsored order now too, and I've been happy with everything. I've used half of the canvases for acrylic painting now and I didn't even re-gesso them, Like I would have had to do if I got them at Walmart or the cheap ones at Blick. I will definitely order more of the canvases and panels, especially for my "Daily paintings" paintings. It just doesn't make sense to pay more.

I have some brushes but never seem to have the right ones so if I can get a reasonably priced set from Temu, I'd love to do that and despite what some goofball commenter might have said, I very much trust your reviews! I like the brushes a lot! The main issue with cheaper brushes can be shedding, and then you have to pick hairs out of your painting. I have had minimal shedding with these and am very happy with them! In general, I prefer softer synthetic brushes with my acrylics because I tend to pain in thinner layers. If you're doing thick heavy impasto like techniques, you might prefer a harder bush like a hog bristle brush. It all comes down to what you prefer and what techniques you use when you are painting. Even when I am oil painting, I prefer softer synthetic brushes. I actually like cheaper brushes for painting, especially acrylic and oil. When they wear out, I just throw them away and get new ones, with no stress over how much the brush cost. I have some very expensive (for me anyway!) brushes that I got that were I think $50 for a set of three and I almost never use them because I'm afraid of ruining them. And thank you for the support for that one comment I got. It did sting... especially because that would go against everything I believe in as a person. Maybe he was just having a bad day or something. I don't know. I knew I was going to get comments like that here on RUclips, but knowing I am going to get them, is not the same as actually getting them and having to deal with those emotions.
Oh, another thing to add: I've bought several ceramic Meeden palettes from Temu. They have a bunch of different shapes. They are so fun, and very nice quality!
Funny how the Special items sent to you by Temu were all in frosted bags. Nothing I have ordered except for clothing comes in those bags. They wanted to make a special presentation for you to show on RUclips. In any event, I ordered from them, but recently got paint brushes that were bent. They refunded me the money, but I really wanted the paintbrushes and now there is a $15.00 minimum. I will order from them anyhow again because the prices can't be beat.
I have quite a few of tho😮se items. I have the silicone mat as I go to a social painting group once a week. I also have the lamp. Is cold press or hot press better when starting. Thanks for sharing.

I am still loving everything except the oil pastels. I especially love the watercolor sketch book and the transom detail brushes so much so I bought and paid for another set with my own money. I take the watercolor sketchbook out with me everytime I go plain air painting and it is my new favorite! I've also been heavily using and enjoying the 8×10 canvases and plan to buy more of them as well.
I’ve purchased from Temu several times. I’ve liked the quality most of time. When I have had issues the customer service is superior and they stand behind products. My stuff hasn’t been packed in those cool zip bags though.

I've recently bought a heap of half pan metallic watercolours for my journaling and I'm so happy with them, I've already done another couple of orders. I'm in Australia and it takes about 9-11 days to get my orders too 👍
Packaging is horrible but items usually are ok not fantastic just ok. I buy a lot for my job I’m an arts and crafts teacher. Love the prices I use stein also compare sometimes one is cheaper than the other.
I've ordered many times using a different name and packaging is usually decent. I've been pretty happy with most of my art supplies. They are usually pretty good, even though they aren't professional level. I'd say I'm pretty happy woth 90% thanks for watching!
I've purchase loads of supplies from Temu. While I play with watercolors, and have way more than I'll ever use because I follow the frugal crafter and I'm a sucker for a clever palette, I am primarily a paper crafter, current obsession being junk journals. temu's great for stuff to distress and layer. One thing that struck me, because in all of the half dozen or so orders I've placed, I've never once received an item in those great-looking zip bags, and I noticed your "secret," order from Temu didn't have any of them, either. No shade on anyone for that - just kinda makes yo go, "Hmmmm."
I think there is a word funnest, because I could spell it and it didn’t get red lined, as it I’d spelled it wrong. Keep using it 😃 Really enjoyed you opening your pkg. when I get my orders I always feel like it’s Christmas!!! I’ve done oil painting, but I’m really not an artist, I love mountains and barns especially. Have fun with your treasures.❤😅
I order from them all of the time (however I don't get mine packaged in those nice bags). You cannot beat the crafts/art supply's/brushes, paper. I have gotten awesome brushes from them. You can definitely save money.😊
The only time I have been disappointed in my Temu purchases is when I haven’t read the details carefully & ended up with something tiny when I should have ordered the larger size, or when I mistakenly ordered cotton swatches but wanted paper. So - read the details carefully! Otherwise, I love Temu for art supplies.

It can be, just like anything else! But there are worse ones out there! Also, the nice thing about art supplies is that they get used up! SO at some point, you have to replace them!

Your art supplies are packed beautifully, stacked in a normal, organized way. Mine are ALWAYS dumped, stuck in the bag any way possible. Even my stencils come buckled up, as I have seen others add in the comment section. I think they KNOW who you are! Just enjoy it. It's the way we all should be treated.

I have experienced the same mish-mash of packing, fortunately nothing has been damaged. They obviously want her as a sponsor so used better packaging. That said, it does not negate the bargains that can be bought from TEMU.

Wait, some folks DON'T get excited by art supplies?!?!?? I don't understand 🤔 I just got some of the 5X5" watercolor sketchbooks from Temu yesterday! LOVE them. Great purse size and wonderful paper. $5.39 each in this order. I still work 40 hrs/wk at 69 yrs old and don't have as much time to play as I'd like. So having small watercolor sketchbooks, waterbrushes and tiny paint palette or watercolor markers with me at all times makes use of small snatches of my time. LOVE watching your art hauls and supply reviews. Thanks.
I love them too! I've switch to almost exclusively taking those out with me when we go fishing and I get to do some watercolor sketching! Aren't they great???

That's been my only gripe... that they don't always package them varefully, def not like these! Wish theyd learn you can't just throw loose stencils in with a bunch of bulky stuff dont work if they're bent, but they're really good about instantly refunding any damaged goods. XO Temu
I have an NEVER gotten somethings so well packaged as what you have received! I recently ordered some tins to put homemade salve in, and out of the 20, eight were damaged😣! They just threw them all in a big bunch, and there was nothing to protect them🤨! I was so disappointed, yet I keep buying from them. I Keep getting lured in by their prices.🤷🏻♀️

I’ve ordered mine from an art store in Australia and it was cheaper and a bigger roll. It’s always best to shop around if something appears overpriced.
It depends on which supplier you buy from on temu, some people will have $50 AU on the paper and another will have $9au (about the same in Canadian and $4-5US) Always keep scrolling and you’ll find someone on temu who has it really cheap.
Never buy when they get you to spin etc as it will end up dearer than if you didn’t.

I do have one comment. The stuff that you ordered WAS packaged differently than the promo teams shipment to you.
Each individual item from the promo team was inside of their nice Temu Ziploc type bags even though they already in their own sealed packaging. . Which did give it additional padding of sorts to protect it during shipping.
Everything that came in your separate order was just in its original sealed packaging no special Ziploc type bags.
I’ve ordered several times from Timo and I’ve never seen those nice Ziploc type Temu bags before. There have been times that my items could’ve used that added protection.

Yours are packaged a LOT BETTER than any of mine have been from Temu. Mine usually have holes in the packages where they were opened at customs and taped back up. Fortunately, I haven't had anything destroyed so far.

Mine too. I have had holes in my pkgs and they did not have the nice bags in mine. That being said if you get something damaged or that you dislike, they make good on your purchase. I order from there at least once a month.

If u get clothing items, they generally come in those bags. Most of my stuff comes from within the US, but I have had several bags taped up. A delivery person said that the bags ripped from them sorting,so they taped it back. There were two that they re-ripped in delivery due to weight of bag, and a few small items had fallen out. Temu immediately gave me the choice to replace the or credit my account. Not everyone knows ,but u can also go to ur order up to a couple of days after delivery and get the difference on any items that have lower prices than when u ordered.
I love my art mat, bought one for my granddaughter, too.

It was so helpful to hear how you felt about the products in use. Most people say 'it's so pretty' or 'that pink doesn't match this other product'. Knowing how the brushes draw water or how much spring they have is so much more useful and the same goes for your comments about the canvases and papers. I feel pretty packaging is a bonus but is there any pigment in the paint is what I need from a review and you did just that without too much rustling too. Thank you so much. Thanks for the vote of confidence. I try not to let the comment's get under my skin, but that one really bothered me, mostly because of what happened yesterday with the other sponsor. I turned down enough money to pay our whole heating bill for a month in the winter AFTER I'd already done all the work, trying to stay honest for my viewers which was really really hard. And then to get that comment the very next day... It was a lot, I guess. Knowing stuff like that happens on RUclips is a lot different than experiencing it for yourself, I guess. Your art supplies are great. You did get special treatment on the packing. I order a lot from Temu and I can assure you that my orders are jam-packed in the orange bag with no semblance of order. They are definitely not in ziplock bags. Everything is a hot mess inside of the orange bag. I have loved everything that I have purchased from Temu and will continue to buy from them. You got the royal treatment on this.
Yep. I've done two more videos for them now (one is already up and one is coming,) and I only had the bags for the first video. Plus, all the orders I have placed on my own have had no bags. It was nice while it lasted! :) Still love 90% of the stuff I get there though! And I've only ever had one item arrive damaged! Thanks for watching!

The person who packed your order must love to pack orders with those awesome bags, I have never seen anyone who got this many of those amazing bags, I got quite a few at times but love how they packed yours. Great buys, I have crafted for over 50 years and spent tons of many getting products from Temu, I did my granddaughters wedding decor mostly from Temu, it was so much more affordable. Happy this order made you so happy, I love opening mine when the bags come. I am in South America right now v but ship my orders to my sister and she said , girl the closet is full, I must have over 20 bags to open. That will be fun
I got some absolutely stunning brush pen fountain pens, they have the piston to pull up ink or can use ink cartridges, but instead of the fountain pen nib they have a brush nib. They're soooo nice and were under £2 each!
I've had to return one item before and it was free to send back and only took a few days for them to reimburse the money, they also give you a £5 voucher if your order doesn't arrive within the said time (I had it once where it came a few days late - as soon as it hit the last day in the expected time they automatically messaged me and said 'sorry, here's £5 credit' so I didn't even have to chase them down for it) I've ordered from them three times now and have been happy each time. They have great deals on stickers, I've got multiple 50 packs of stickers for like 89p!

I got the little watercolor book 18:18, and there AWESOME! Ive actually gone back and bought all the design's because in the first week I owned the first book, I used up the entire book!!!! I filled it full of watercolor tree's! I just loved it so much I couldn't stop painting in it! I painted day and night! It's a good thing actually that Im bed/wheelchair bound because I was painting in bed, very comfortable, and didn't have to worry much about falling asleep in the middle of a painting, LOL!
I love TEMU, and they have some STUNNING watercolors! Including pearls, metalics, vintage colors, just all sorts of color sets that are just beautiful. I now have a stunning 120 color set that I put together customized by buying all of the Temu color sets and combining them into one large custom box! Till i had a mega watercolor set including all the standard colors, + vintage, pearls, metalics, everything you could possibly want, AND about 30 custom colors i made over the years. My biggest problem was finding a tray big enough to hold THAT MANY pans & half pans.

I don't know how many times I've heard you say that it'll be the last haul for a while in the past. So I laughed when I saw the new vid and the title.
But the distinction is, this one wasn't paid for by me! :) I actually haven't paid for any art haul videos since the one where I said it was my last one (which is the one that says part two on the front). And actually, I filmed this back in May so it did take some time to get approval for. I haven't bought a single art supply with my own money since May 28th. I'm trying to be on a "no spend" for art supplies until August! So far, I'm still going strong!

to keep your paper trimmer sharp, try cutting very fine sandpaper, sand up. It seems to resharpen the blade
Hullo Amy, I have been lured in to a TEMU purchase too! If you look at the second line on your watercolor block there is HP and it is Hot Press paper. I have the Baohong Artist and professional grades blocks both are 100% cotton but the Artist grade is almost double the price, but I just don’t believe that they are worth double value. Both are much cheaper than Arches block by quite a bit! I am going to buy a block from Stonehenge to compare to the rest of the papers I have purchased. Thank you for sharing your experience with us. Temu also has some really great storage options for art\craft supplies 👍🏻. I don’t think the nicer plastic bags come in “regular” orders, I’ve only seen them on you tube orders. (I have ordered about 4 times and never received one)
I've had loads, and kept them all for storing other things, and I'm not a RUclipsr, or anything of that ilk, so they definitely send them to "ordinary" people....

Wow, that was an art-haul-and-a-half for sure! And, while i know you could only give initial impressions, it does seem that the quality was by and large very acceptable - and there is no doubt at all about the pricing being extremely attractive. For personal reasons, it's unlikely I will purchase from Temu but I'm really pleased that they came through for you with good quality items in your shipment. And of course for anyone on a restricted budget it provides a way to obtain art-making supplies that might otherwise remain out of reach - which has to be a positive thing. It was great to see you having such a good time diving into the bag of goodies - enjoy them over the upcoming months and do let us all know how well some of them are holding up after a few months use. I actually really was very happy with everything I got quality-wise, except for the oil pastels. They were disappointing but not a fail. Someone else said they think they are the student grade Mungyo oil pastels and not the professional grade, which would make sense. And yep, I hear you on the personal reasons. Everybody has to do what they feel comfortable with in the long run. We all do our best to live by our values that are important to us, and we shouldn't compromise them. I do feel that a lot of art supplies are out of the price range that a lot of people can afford, and I know, because for a long time, I was one of them. I don't think price should be a barrier for people who want to create art. And just because they start out buying supplies at a certain price point doesn't mean they will have to stay at that same price point for the rest of their lives. Many of these products were a really affordable entryway into better quality art supplies. And it sure was fun to unbox, open and use everything! I LOVE TEMU! I have bought some of everything from them over the years.
The products that you received I have never seen on Temu. I have used the Baohong student-grade watercolour paper. The quality is excellent and when it first came out it included a green paper removal tool. The goat hair brushes are one of my favourites as they are close to an acrylic brush but hold more water and paint. Recently, there has been some controversy concerning Temu messing with your computer. I have not found any problems with my computer so far.

It really is! I am loving it! It's nice even to just set up on my work desk when I want to work on a little painting!
To me it seems like the difference in the two packages is the packaging. Most things I get come in cellophane -type plastic that has hard-to-find openings. Clothing comes in zip-lock bags which I reuse in various ways. I do save the cellophane bags and the outer packaging bags (orange or black.) I often make crafts from recycled or repurposed materials and I fill open spaces inside of things with them and also use them when mailing packages as cushioning or space fillers.
I have received a few duds. I couldn’t find my hole puncher so bought a new one that doesn’t cut even a thin piece of paper. Just found my old one which can punch through mat board. A leather hole puncher fell apart and a hack saw doesn’t stay together. A few items arrived broken and Temu credited my account quickly. It was easy to return a few items ( just have to print out return labels and drop them at the Post Office.) I have spent maybe $1000 there and almost everything was good.or great. I have purchased clothing, shoes, & household/garden items, but mostly art & craft supplies.
I have one suggestion and that is to always look for sizes and use a ruler with inches and mm or cm to
see how big items will be. Often the photos make them look much larger. With clothing, don’t go by sizes, but pull up the size chart and buy by measurements. A “large” or “medium” for example can vary widely between products.

It depends on what I'm painting and where. If I'm working at my easel, I almost always use a long handled brush. Desk work it can go either way. There are some good light weight ones out there, so if you'd like to use a long one, you could try some of those maybe? Thank you so much for subscribing and welcome to the channel! Yes, the Gallery pastels you have from Blick are the "Artists' soft oil pastels" whereas the ones from Temu are just " Artists' oil pastels." Mungyo does have an even more budget oil pastel labeled "Oil pastels for artists."
That explains it! They were creamy like the mungyo I have but kind of translucent and didn't blend quite as well.

So happy you made this video and showed the Temu art supplies 👏👏👏 I have received 2 orders from Temu so far. Summer sun dresses for 10 bucks and Im so happy with them. I wanted to order that watercolor paper block, the pretty art journals and canvases but wasn't sure. I spun the wheel on the app and got an even deeper discount percent off. Im putting an order for art supplies because some other things I want to try as well. Exciting I've been seeing such good reviews for Temu. Like Pan Pastels was bought by Golden and they jack up price big time so Im going to be trying out the oil pastels soon.
I've gotten three non-sponsored order now too, and I've been happy with everything. I've used half of the canvases for acrylic painting now and I didn't even re-gesso them, Like I would have had to do if I got them at Walmart or the cheap ones at Blick. I will definitely order more of the canvases and panels, especially for my "Daily paintings" paintings. It just doesn't make sense to pay more.

I have some brushes but never seem to have the right ones so if I can get a reasonably priced set from Temu, I'd love to do that and despite what some goofball commenter might have said, I very much trust your reviews! I like the brushes a lot! The main issue with cheaper brushes can be shedding, and then you have to pick hairs out of your painting. I have had minimal shedding with these and am very happy with them! In general, I prefer softer synthetic brushes with my acrylics because I tend to pain in thinner layers. If you're doing thick heavy impasto like techniques, you might prefer a harder bush like a hog bristle brush. It all comes down to what you prefer and what techniques you use when you are painting. Even when I am oil painting, I prefer softer synthetic brushes. I actually like cheaper brushes for painting, especially acrylic and oil. When they wear out, I just throw them away and get new ones, with no stress over how much the brush cost. I have some very expensive (for me anyway!) brushes that I got that were I think $50 for a set of three and I almost never use them because I'm afraid of ruining them. And thank you for the support for that one comment I got. It did sting... especially because that would go against everything I believe in as a person. Maybe he was just having a bad day or something. I don't know. I knew I was going to get comments like that here on RUclips, but knowing I am going to get them, is not the same as actually getting them and having to deal with those emotions.
The pink thing is for water colors, and usually for kids to protect the table n stuff 😊

Oh, another thing to add: I've bought several ceramic Meeden palettes from Temu. They have a bunch of different shapes. They are so fun, and very nice quality!

Funny how the Special items sent to you by Temu were all in frosted bags. Nothing I have ordered except for clothing comes in those bags. They wanted to make a special presentation for you to show on RUclips. In any event, I ordered from them, but recently got paint brushes that were bent. They refunded me the money, but I really wanted the paintbrushes and now there is a $15.00 minimum. I will order from them anyhow again because the prices can't be beat.
I have quite a few of tho😮se items. I have the silicone mat as I go to a social painting group once a week. I also have the lamp. Is cold press or hot press better when starting. Thanks for sharing.

I am still loving everything except the oil pastels. I especially love the watercolor sketch book and the transom detail brushes so much so I bought and paid for another set with my own money. I take the watercolor sketchbook out with me everytime I go plain air painting and it is my new favorite! I've also been heavily using and enjoying the 8×10 canvases and plan to buy more of them as well.
I have really enjoyed most everything I’ve received from Temu, except the t-shirts, which are too thin to put designs on.

I’ve purchased from Temu several times. I’ve liked the quality most of time. When I have had issues the customer service is superior and they stand behind products. My stuff hasn’t been packed in those cool zip bags though.

Yeah that’s special treatment lol we don’t get our stuff in nice plastic bags…. It’s usually thrown in a thin Temu bag and not taped securely…. And mostly comes in a damaged bag with damaged pieces

I get that watercolor paper from Temu and I'm quite happy with it. Some stuff or hit or miss but they do have a lot of good stuff on there.
The sketchbook is 5x5. I love the watercolour ones so I just ordered the regular sketchbook in the same design.

I've recently bought a heap of half pan metallic watercolours for my journaling and I'm so happy with them, I've already done another couple of orders. I'm in Australia and it takes about 9-11 days to get my orders too 👍
Packaging is horrible but items usually are ok not fantastic just ok. I buy a lot for my job I’m an arts and crafts teacher. Love the prices I use stein also compare sometimes one is cheaper than the other.
I've ordered many times using a different name and packaging is usually decent. I've been pretty happy with most of my art supplies. They are usually pretty good, even though they aren't professional level. I'd say I'm pretty happy woth 90% thanks for watching!

Still going strong! I got some for my kids too and my older son used his every single day for the last year and they still work.
I've purchase loads of supplies from Temu. While I play with watercolors, and have way more than I'll ever use because I follow the frugal crafter and I'm a sucker for a clever palette, I am primarily a paper crafter, current obsession being junk journals. temu's great for stuff to distress and layer.
One thing that struck me, because in all of the half dozen or so orders I've placed, I've never once received an item in those great-looking zip bags, and I noticed your "secret," order from Temu didn't have any of them, either. No shade on anyone for that - just kinda makes yo go, "Hmmmm."
Temu is very addictive for lots of choices! I shop as an artist and more personal and haven't been let down yet!

I order from them all of the time (however I don't get mine packaged in those nice bags). You cannot beat the crafts/art supply's/brushes, paper. I have gotten awesome brushes from them. You can definitely save money.😊

The only time I have been disappointed in my Temu purchases is when I haven’t read the details carefully & ended up with something tiny when I should have ordered the larger size, or when I mistakenly ordered cotton swatches but wanted paper. So - read the details carefully! Otherwise, I love Temu for art supplies.
