What, no trashing of Prof. Ed Goodrick? That's the only thing I remember from Lubeck's classes. It's still unbelievable to me that the ground level of his career at MU was to self-publish an attempt at obliterating a much better mind than his own (it failed miserably). Lesson: a university is a marketplace of ideas, not a collection of promulgators on soapboxes, to either worship or deride.
I really liked the thought that reading the New Testament without knowing the Old Testament is like reading the punchline without knowing the joke.
