Covered a lot in one video. Cool to see insides of "old" (relative term!) parts

Another excellent video. You covered all the bases. Use, construction, and theory! 😉

Another nice piece from the auction score. Any repairs to this one or did it just work? Thanks for an informative and interesting video!

+George Chambers It was perfectly fine. Most of the gear is. The school just replaces gear every few years. Then it sits in storeroom for years until it's completely deprecated. Then they auction everything off.

The only school around here is just a couple of years old. I doubt they have any equipment old enough to retire yet. I guess when you live in an old established part of the country that stuff is available. The big cities like Portland you can find deals like that just not here in the hinterlands. Oh well.

+George Chambers George, since schools allow bids via mail, email, and even telephone. Check some of the bigger schools on the left coast and you may find auctions posted online that you can bid on.

Good idea. I hadn't thought about online bidding. The only real problem with that thought would be shipping or driving hours to go fetch the stuff. I will look into it though. Thanks for the idea.

Nice piece of kit. Too expensive at original price but you scooped a bargain sir!

+gartmorn That's the list price. Look on eBay. A company called USA Test Equipment sells them for about $40 US.
