My home burned 3 days before Thanksgiving. I’m staying w/ friend/neighbor for the time being. I had only the clothes I had on & I happened to grab my purse. I lost my girls…. My 🐶2 1/2 & 4 1/2 yrs old.😞 I’m 66 yr old widow starting from scratch. Oh my, I’ve prayed & prayed. God has been w/ me. My sister ‘ life long friend supplied me w/ practically a whole wardrobe including coats & shoes & socks. My insurance replaced all my medicines. I had several. I think this is a rebirth for me. To let go of my past & look to a more brighter future. I pray so. I need to let God be in control & take care of things & not worry so much. I just have deadlines coming up. All I hear is how hard done by people are. We all have troubles, some worse than others, in some peoples philosophy. But pain is pain, suffering is suffering and complaining is complaining. Self, self, self. We talk of enlightenment or peace with God, but not one of you are willing to let go of this world and be moulded into a brave and loyal servant of the Lord your God. Hard times are the means by which God refines His children. If it doesn’t kill you, learn from it, don’t do it again, it can only make you stronger and wiser. it’s simple. Stop feeling sorry for yourselves. Make yourself useful to your Lord, hands that create help you to understand how you can do all these things, then there is nothing you can’t do in this world. Trust in God is not just an order, it is a perspective from which you live your life. Just get on with whatever happens to you and move along to the next scenario, the world is full of horrible people, you have to learn to step to one side and carry on. What you do to others, will be done to you. In this life and in the next. We all deserve hell, start showing some gratitude that God had to send His Son, for you, so you could have one last shot of an eternal life. That’s how much God loves you. Hard times are the means by which God refines His children. If it doesn’t kill you, learn from it, don’t do it again, it can only make you stronger and wiser. it’s simple. Stop feeling sorry for yourselves. Make yourself useful to your Lord, hands that create help you to understand how you can do all these things, then there is nothing you can’t do in this world. Trust in God is not just an order, it is a perspective from which you live your life. Just get on with whatever happens to you and move along to the next scenario, the world is full of horrible people, you have to learn to step to one side and carry on. What you do to others, will be done to you. In this life and in the next. We all deserve hell, start showing some gratitude that God had to send His Son, for you, so you could have one last shot of an eternal life. That’s how much God loves you. How many of you would do the same for Him?
We cannot remain honest if we lump fornication and adultery in with substance abuse or addiction. Sexual sin is unique because it is committed not only against others, but one's own self as well.
