This has been my dream knife, ever since I first saw one, a couple of years ago. It is drop-dead gorgeous. Unfortunately, they cost around $400 to get to NZ, so I'll have to keep looking at pictures of them.
I got one on ebay for a fair rate, it's the perfect big city knife where laws are absurd. NYC dropped it's opening rules on non assisted but cops could still waste your time and money because they don't know, This little guy is 100% legal with no grey area and perfect EDC for those conditions. Winkler made something very similar for this reason awhile ago. One of the many reasons i'm relocating to Texas :) but stilla great little alternative to a folder that carries with a similar presence as slipjoint in a sheath.
I purchased mine through giantmouse’s site recently.. and bladeHQ had it shortly after! I suggest getting on the email list for both sites. They both had it on sale for same price+shipping/tax
I just got the regular one. Didnt want the fat one. Its n690c and it doesn't have any serial number or anything. Not even a blade steel etch. Just the same logo with the vox-anso on it and it says made in Italy under the handle.
Giant Mouse has sold a Kydex sheath for the 4mm and 5mm knives before in the past that was a lot thinner than the leather - But don’t know if they will sell it again. I prefer it over the leather and especially for the 5mm as the leather sheath is too tight for the 5mm.

I haven’t seen any out there. Only thing I’ve seen modifications wise is people making handle/scales for this.

Be advised! THIS SHEATH WILL ONLY FIT THE 4MM THICK VERSIONS OF THE KNIFE (GMF1 & GMF1-P). IT WILL NOT FIT THE 5MM THICK GMF1-F
