Exactly, Yukino is an "ice queen" basically because she's very deprecative and is almost unemotional or she doesn't even show any affection. Much likely she's very cold asf on the early episodes of season 1.

I wish I stumbled upon this anime 7 years ago. I wish I'd been here from the start, waiting for each episode to be released. I wish I'd joined everyone on this journey, and made fond memories with this show... I started watching it after s3 was released, and I feel sad when I see people commenting how enjoyable the 7-year journey was. Even so, I guess better late than never. While I watched all 3 seasons in 2 weeks, this anime will stay with me forever. I will read the light novels, and rewatch it later at some point. Thanks Oregairu. Don't worry buddy, I watched it back in 2015 as well when season 2 was released. Reading those reddit analyses after every episode was part of the great experience, but the 4 year wait for a new season was agonizing; some people (me included) thought it was never gonna happen, but as our favorite trio says, we're all glad we came to the end of this wonderful journey

i think this song (at least the first half) is based off of hachiman’s yearning for a genuine relationship. why? - recall how hikki tells the volunteer club that what he wants is something genuine, a bond that he can trust in - also recall that in the start of season 2, it’s established that hayato’s clique is forged upon somewhat false bonds, the brown-haired girl for example (i forgot her name lmao) cannot get on a truly personal level with the others, as she is afraid that will damage their relationship (implying that their relationship isn’t strong enough to uphold the truth, and only the truth) and it is probably the same for the others in the clique - in the titular genuine scene with hikki, the reason as to why he suddenly says he wants something “genuine” is probably because he can already tell that the relationship that he, yuigahama and yukino have isn’t as open, direct, or even truthful as the relationship he was searching for. it isn’t a relationship he can put his whole faith in, it’s become something that feels like it could crumble at any moment. everyone is hiding things, putting on a facade as if everything is ok, as if the awkward and restrained relationship they have is ok the way it is. that isnt what hachiman wants. he wasn’t true to himself all these years for this; as apathetic as he may have seemed, one way or another he was unconsciously searching for something “genuine” all along knowing all the above, we know that for the lyrics stating “i dont want this replica i’ll only be satisfied with something i can call real” its a direct reference to that scene. what hikki wants is a genuine bond with the club members, not companionship and for “i will search over there” refers to how hikki, unbeknownst to himself is constantly searching for something genuine. “but thats like a time old fairytale” refers to how he knows that this wish of his is probably impossible, as impossible as a fairytale. therefore, his wish is only a fairytale that can never be granted. i could go on in detail but really im too lazy to but basically its probably hikki’s feelings after the fight with yukino and yui on the trip and him coming to the realization of the status of the club’s relationship (basically at a standstill, hence “it spins around aimlessly” the members still go to the club after school because they feel wrong to change how things had been like before even though its awkward between them now), then realizing that he started to wish for something genuine, and finally, gathering the initiative to say it aloud also in the second half of the song theres a lyrics that goes something like if you raise a flower it can be easily trample by a careless, unrestrained step, thats a direct reference to the fight that ensues after hikki’s messed up solution (to him it may have seemed like he only said one thing, and it worked, but it really wasnt the best way to resolve things) to the hayato clique catastrophe. things got awkward right after that between hikki, yukino and yui i know this is really long but i really just wanted a catharsis for my thoughts throughout this season. it really got me thinking :’)

And Eventually.. I started to miss "Yahello" and "Hello - hello" between them. Honestly what a journey. I waited for the entire season 3 to finish airing. I watched it at once. Had mixed emotions still feel like that show made a statement but left us in an awe and emptiness. Arigato - Oregairu ❤️
Unfortunately season 4 is highly unlikely as the anime has caught up with the light novel source material almost completely excluding a half volume of side stories I could see them doing a spinoff for ANOTHER which is basically the Yui route and branches off of the story mid season 2

Out of all the openings the first 1 is a classic but this one brings me the most nostalgia I am happy to have been part of the people who watched this series since the beginning

I really don't wanna say goodbye to Oregairu, this anime really pulled me out of my dark times when I was just used by my "friends" as some punching bag they could laugh at, back when I was desperate for a group to belong in to the point that I would humiliate myself just to have friends this anime made me realize that being a loner was better than having shit "friends"

Not really, their are 4 mini novels called Oregairu Shin and their is a Volume 14.5 said to release this April (although given Oregairu's last few light novel releases you would be wise to be sceptical as it might get pushed back)

I just finished season 3 yesterday. This anime brought mixed emotions that I never feel in real life. I hope someday, I reincarnated and born in Japan and have this same kind of experience. Tbh, I started to idolize Hikigaya even he's stubborn and loner, but he managed to change his life. I want to be like him. Maybe it's sounds crazy but that's what I really like because that's what makes me happy. I'm hoping for Yui and Hiki but it turns out Yuki and Hiki. They are a perfect couple and I like them. ♥️
Its not the type of anime that you'll get at first sight, more like the monogatari series. Full with wordplay and puns, thought provoking scenarios and such. One may not fully get the picture, so a rewatch is must.

The thing about this anime. There is literally no other MC like Hachiman. I tried to find more MC like hachiman and ppl keep giving me Evangelion Shinji. They are literally not the same. This anime will always be special to me. My friends knew every anime out there but I was the first to run into this among them and I didn't know it would teach me so much more than any other. This helped me through some tough times when I started a journey on my own without my parents and at the same time dealing with a relationship problem.

Just finished the season 2 of this anime, and mannnnnnn i can't hold my tears at that last scene, when Yukino actually have a favor to Hachiman and Yui, i think how they added Irohasss in this anime is very great option, you can see how Iroha affecting Hikki, Yui, Yukino's chemistry through the collaboration with another high school, how they keep Hayama and the gang to keep that relation, how they make KOMACHI EVEN CUTERRRRR, everything that happen in this anime is just amazing, cant wait to see Season 3! Its just imo, but this anime is so hard once you dont understand you will be a lost wanderer, honestly im into that situation tho, especially when 8man wanted the real thing, i cried a little and didn't understand it after, talking about the "Real thing", this songs is suits the anime very well, when the lyric says "今なんだこんなレプリカはいらない、本物と呼べるものだけでいい" Aka the refs part, it hits hard real quick
Unpopular opinion: Season 2 was the best season and had a very mature and serious tone all along. And I adore the last episode especially that scene in the sunset where the 3 characters talk about what is to come in the near future.
I never really loved the 3rd season's OP as much as I loved this one; there's something about the whole arrangement that makes you want to get up and walk into the sunset, just remembering better times and all that drama in between. Everything about this is perfect, from the lyrics to the instrumental. Nostalgia's overflowing every time i rewatch this series, and this is one of the few OPs i never skip even on a rewatch

Unfortunately season 4 is highly unlikely as the anime has caught up with the light novel source material almost completely excluding a half volume of side stories
I could see them doing a spinoff for ANOTHER which is basically the Yui route and branches off of the story mid season 2

I just finished season 3 yesterday. This anime brought mixed emotions that I never feel in real life. I hope someday, I reincarnated and born in Japan and have this same kind of experience. Tbh, I started to idolize Hikigaya even he's stubborn and loner, but he managed to change his life. I want to be like him. Maybe it's sounds crazy but that's what I really like because that's what makes me happy. I'm hoping for Yui and Hiki but it turns out Yuki and Hiki. They are a perfect couple and I like them. ♥️

Its not the type of anime that you'll get at first sight, more like the monogatari series. Full with wordplay and puns, thought provoking scenarios and such. One may not fully get the picture, so a rewatch is must.

This anime will always be special to me. My friends knew every anime out there but I was the first to run into this among them and I didn't know it would teach me so much more than any other. This helped me through some tough times when I started a journey on my own without my parents and at the same time dealing with a relationship problem.
It was 5 years ago when i was 17,right after i got heavily rejected by my crush for 4-5 years.
I started to lock myself away from everyone around me.Ive spent countless hours listening to this particular song and enjoy my college scene where people enjoy their sports like rugby and volleyball covered by the orange shades of sunset. Everytime i dont have classes by the afternoon,i walked up to the 4th floor classroom where i can see everything thats under orange sleeves before evenings sun.I tinker a lot in those hours,delusionally living a life under my standards,a perfect life. This song made me live my younger and rebellious days that ill never travel back to. It hits close to home.Years past,I graduated and worked further able to own a WRX STI, Its just that i realised from 2020,No matter how much fast youve been in,You cant outrun your past...I love this song to bits and halfly fulfilled my teenage dreams..

Just finished the season 2 of this anime, and mannnnnnn i can't hold my tears at that last scene, when Yukino actually have a favor to Hachiman and Yui, i think how they added Irohasss in this anime is very great option, you can see how Iroha affecting Hikki, Yui, Yukino's chemistry through the collaboration with another high school, how they keep Hayama and the gang to keep that relation, how they make KOMACHI EVEN CUTERRRRR, everything that happen in this anime is just amazing, cant wait to see Season 3! Its just imo, but this anime is so hard once you dont understand you will be a lost wanderer, honestly im into that situation tho, especially when 8man wanted the real thing, i cried a little and didn't understand it after, talking about the "Real thing", this songs is suits the anime very well, when the lyric says "今なんだこんなレプリカはいらない、本物と呼べるものだけでいい" Aka the refs part, it hits hard real quick

Unpopular opinion: Season 2 was the best season and had a very mature and serious tone all along. And I adore the last episode especially that scene in the sunset where the 3 characters talk about what is to come in the near future.

I never really loved the 3rd season's OP as much as I loved this one; there's something about the whole arrangement that makes you want to get up and walk into the sunset, just remembering better times and all that drama in between. Everything about this is perfect, from the lyrics to the instrumental. Nostalgia's overflowing every time i rewatch this series, and this is one of the few OPs i never skip even on a rewatch
The meaning of the song really captures the meaning of the later seasons doesnt it?, i usually just care for a song to sound good but if its nicely written its a nice extra and actually satisfying to connect the words with the music
