I'm really excited to get these! I have always used ecotech for my marine tanks, but used ADA for my freshwater tank, going to give this one a go, hopefully its as good as the marine ones!🤞🏼
Shouldn’t you talk more about the spectrum and show us what it looks like over a planted tank? At that price point, you need to really sell that thing because freshwater hobbyists are cheap.
Stay tuned- there will be plenty more.. just an announcement - they are already in use at some public exhibits and at retailers. - as we get the footage we will post it up - if you are in Texas check out the Fish Gallery - they have some stunning FW setups using them already.
If you are going to be viewing the refugium then absolutely - if not then you may want to go with a hort spectrum fixture as that is even more spectrum target just not pleasant to look at. The FW will absolutely grow macro algae.
The problem is that you guys smell like ocean. You do not understand how to target & sell your products to the freshwater audience- do some market research first. We don't want to see a bunch of corals and marine fish in the promo video, we need to see the fixtures hung over nice scaped tanks with vibrant fish & plants popping. Seeing the product in action, with the app being used. We have premium brands like ADA, Life Aqua, ONF with the similar price points that have done the hard yards, testing and promoting with aquascapers. Only a marine head transitioning to freshwater would even think of this product-that's a tiny percentage.
We completely agree - while the Freshwater lights are legit as we produce them in a specific response to requests from our retailers, distributors and end-users who have both tropical and marine - however as a company, we are not currently focused on the freshwater side of our lines from marketing perpective - you will see that develop more in the future as we produce more products specifically for the wider user base in the freshwater hobby. Thank you for the feedback!
Looking forward to seeing this in action! My plant club is excited to learn more.
Thanks Kat..
Sweet! This will be a great competitor to AI Prime freshwater.

@@EcoTechMarineUScan we see any of this in action?
Woooo hoo jay !
Wow amazing
Thank you! Cheers!
Will there be a XR15 G6 Freshwater soon? Or can I use the G6 Pro for planted freshwater?
I have a 84"x36"x36" FW chiclid tank. how many would I need for it?
Is the original xr30w lamp any use for tropical? I’ve got the chance of a full set up with one included.
Absolutely - just turn the blue channels down and rely more heavily on the whites - adding in some red and green will give you richer colors.
@@EcoTechMarineUS thanks kindly
Would this work good for a refugium?
