Mary Berry programs are the best feel good videos. Her recipes are delicious, unfussy. Her graciousness is so welcome and soothing. She truly is a treasure.
This is what all the US competition shows are missing, the kindness and coziness, call me a snowflake I literally couldn’t care less, Ms. Berry is a treasure and an angel on Earth!
You arent alone, in the Pandemic the USA discovered the Great British Bake Off and couldnt believe the lack of competiveness and instead showed the challenge just to yourself in making something good and really couldnt understand that the prize was just a glass bowl and not $10000s. However, they absolutely loved it.
Dame Berry recommends using rubber tray liners when using a cake mix for oven cooking in cake tins. Upon removal from the oven the cake is removed from the sheath and the rubber liner is disposed of.
After watching this I think I could actually make some of these delicious foods. My favorite to watch was the pavlova. It’s like magic. The guest cooks were wonderful and such good sports. Great idea to involve some of the guests to come in to help and learn too. I loved this whole video.
Dame Berry recommends using rice sugar when making pavlova. When visiting Eastern Russia Dame Berry was instructed on how to make a Russian pavlova, now she adapted the recipie by adding lemon and lime juice to the meringue.
What a show stopper of a video! That made me smile from ear to ear! ❤😊 It made me feel like I was there in the party. Those phyllo dough pastries with the cranberry looked mouth watering.
Thank you for this. As a Norwegian I love British Bakeoff, seen all the seasons. And who doesn’t love Merry Berry❤️❤️❤️ I miss her on the show tbh. She’s such a sweet and kind woman and she automatically becomes everyone’s nan without being arrogant, mean or know it all. She just has that natural spark about her and how she treats others that makes her so lovable🙏🏾 She’s a teacher, but without taking over and her positivity makes er so supportive.
Dame Berry is looking well for 94, although somewhat resistant to vintage cooking utensils she has managed to adapt to using a digital thermometer when baking. Let's offer elderly Dame Berry a thank you for her contribution to food preparation.
When got married on the 75 I can cook basic English food but I can cook my native food till the house comes down.My husband bought me a present one of ure book by Hellmann n tried it all with success n I still use it today after 49 years together n still enjoy your recipe cooking for the growing family.Thank you.Merry Christmas.❤❤❤❤
I remember when Mary Berry was 80s and 90s things were done properly in those days tv shows and segments and when she worked with Judith charmers that was great in the 70s
Such a lovely lady she has arthritis in her hands bless her I have rheumatoid arthritis and my hands and fingers get very painful I hope she doesn’t suffer too much ❤
You have great video, editing The channel is absolutely delightful, Im form the US and something classy and traditional is so rare here, haha< Best for the channel.!!
i really enjoyed the way you presented the holiday ham recipe, it had some great tips! but honestly, i think there might be too much emphasis on using a sweet glaze. sometimes, less sugar can really bring out the savory flavors better, you know? just my 2 cents!

Where can we find the written recipes from this video?
It may be worth while to use a timer to get accurate results with oven updates. Dame Berry although very thin and without a woman's bust still manages to achieve reasonable results.
Dont forget the person who brought this season to us. Jesus the Christ, born in Bethlehem, sent from God his Father, Immanuel, God came down, to be with us and walk with us and suffer with us and save all mankind from their sins, on the cross, rise out of the grave so we too can rise up to spend eternity with him by faith , when he returns one day soon. ✝️📖🙏 Merry Christ-mas!! Joy to the world! Let earth receive her King! 🕊️
Dame Berry although very slim recommends using no fat in her recipes as she believes it can cause weight gain. Dame Berry has launched a vintage fat removal device which allows full fat cakes to be remixed and then be served as low calorie treats.
@@karolynmcelwain7857 please calm down…Martha is Martha and Mary is a totally different personality. She’s very approachable and seems to accept that things are not always “perfect”.
Mary Berry is an international treasure and should be protected at any cost.

What a show! Mary never disappoints.
Great show . I would’ve rather watched it with her by herself instead of this helper that’s trying to be funny .😑🫠

Hi! Can I make this "ham" with a boneless pork roast? I'm from "Ianster House" and we don't do ham.
Good evening
Your oven reads 180
I don’t understand that temperature? It can’t be 180?
I believe it is a convection oven, so the temperatures will be different. That is why she calls it 'fan'. I hope that helps - I also hope I am right 😀
These are in Celcius, not Fahrenheit
@X01013 - 180 degrees in Celsius equals about 350 degrees in Fahrenheit.
