If I was OH&S I’d tell Sammy to pack his tools up and escort him off the building site and ban him from ever returning. In wrestling school when they are studying to get their wrestling certificate and they are doing the ladder match portion of the course they need to be taught better ways to stall out the match rather then doing the awful sloth looking climb. Maybe the ladders should be unreliable and the wrestlers have to reassemble then continually in someway. I’m surprised no wrestler has come up with a believable way to work the sloth crawl out the ladder match. Any suggestions?

Some nasty bumps in this one. But seeing Scorpio reach for the sky was such a relief. Having such a hateable heel works every time to make the win worth cheering.

Sammy just fell from a ladder onto a ladder with barbed wire on it, landed on the ground, then hopped right back up bouncing from the ropes to continue climbing to the belt. He took that bump like he's Spider-Man.
I think that should have been the finish but people complaining about that are nitpicking an amazing ladder match that contained spots I never saw before and that's saying a lot nowadays. Congratulations to Sky and my respect for Sammy just went up even further. Taya and him are getting Edge and Lita heat with all this PDA 🤣

Just saw the match and wanna give props to one spot in particular: during picture in picture as they were buying time for Sammy to screw his head back on, you can see Scorpio talking to ref Paul Turner. Pretty sure that convo was basically: hey, I'm about to stand up, go tell Tay to cheap shot me. Ref relays the message, the spot happens, rain of boos and Tay plays it up. So smart, great heat spot. Chef's kiss, as the kids day these days
That is Booking issues. If you want Sammy to Sell, and there is more BS to follow, then Sky needs to also slow it down to give opponent time to sell. The spots did not make sense in context of match structure. The real root cause is TK (Booker of the year...twice) He really needs solid booking team...this applies to pretty much entire roster (I can think of 3x who are fine to have free decision making when structuring their matches).
That high spot at the beginning of this video,, was so unnecessary,,maybe not if it'd been not missed!! Hopefully sky will have a loong reign now!!! Bring back the prestige of tnt championship
I liked Sammy a ton the first 2 years. Now it seems like he relies too much on being "crazy 🤪" and it's annoying. Makes his character seem kind of dumb. He's more concerned with doing "cool spots" than winning the match lol. I know it's a work, but in the context of the work, he's dumb.

Sky missed that catching spot. Recovery was too fast after the barbed wire spots. I think the ending was a little merp how Sammy just kind of got punched off in the end. The sell wasn't big enough. Otherwise, super impressed with the match and hopefully Sky vs. Kaz will be one for the books.
Sky didn't miss the catch, it looked like Sammy lost control on where he was landing. Sammy barely missed the bottom rung of the ladder, the flip + spin combo messed with his trajectory. Sky was positioned typically where you would land if you jumped off the ladder. The barbed ladder fall absolutely should've been the ending. Sammy did this once with Cody, after the ladder senton he got right back up.

Just had to say, Scorp had the biggest reaction of the night, from being there in person. Even bigger than CM Punk coming out-- when he climbed the ladder at the end before Sammy jumped back on the ladder, the place came unglued. Again when he pulled down the title. Pretty loud in the video, but in person it was unreal how loud the place was. Scorpio Sky has arrived.

Just saw the match and wanna give props to one spot in particular: during picture in picture as they were buying time for Sammy to screw his head back on, you can see Scorpio talking to ref Paul Turner. Pretty sure that convo was basically: hey, I'm about to stand up, go tell Tay to cheap shot me. Ref relays the message, the spot happens, rain of boos and Tay plays it up. So smart, great heat spot. That is Booking issues. If you want Sammy to Sell, and there is more BS to follow, then Sky needs to also slow it down to give opponent time to sell. The spots did not make sense in context of match structure.
The real root cause is TK (Booker of the year...twice) He really needs solid booking team...this applies to pretty much entire roster (I can think of 3x who are fine to have free decision making when structuring their matches).

I liked Sammy a ton the first 2 years. Now it seems like he relies too much on being "crazy 🤪" and it's annoying. Makes his character seem kind of dumb. He's more concerned with doing "cool spots" than winning the match lol. I know it's a work, but in the context of the work, he's dumb.

Sky missed that catching spot. Recovery was too fast after the barbed wire spots. I think the ending was a little merp how Sammy just kind of got punched off in the end. The sell wasn't big enough. Otherwise, super impressed with the match and hopefully Sky vs. Kaz will be one for the books.

Sky didn't miss the catch, it looked like Sammy lost control on where he was landing. Sammy barely missed the bottom rung of the ladder, the flip + spin combo messed with his trajectory. Sky was positioned typically where you would land if you jumped off the ladder.
The barbed ladder fall absolutely should've been the ending. Sammy did this once with Cody, after the ladder senton he got right back up.

Just had to say, Scorp had the biggest reaction of the night, from being there in person. Even bigger than CM Punk coming out-- when he climbed the ladder at the end before Sammy jumped back on the ladder, the place came unglued. Again when he pulled down the title. Pretty loud in the video, but in person it was unreal how loud the place was. Scorpio Sky has arrived.
