If that's the BHQ exclusive, those scales are stainless steel. I got one a couple of days ago. It weighs over 6oz. I swapped the S90v blade with my Ar-rpm9 teal g10 Prado. Now my S90v Prado weighs a hair over 3oz, I also added a black milled Ti Civivi pocket clip. Ps the pivot is captured, but it's built like a Spyderco with a captured barrel and 2 screws. You are the first RUclipsr to review the exclusive. Great video. I hear ya on the sharpening! I sharpen to relieve stress.
Thank you brother for clearing that up , it was all over the place after I was told it was titanium. That’s such a dope blade swap that you did!! That black Ti clip from CIVIVI is one of my favorites I love the slim profile. Ohh I got you on the pivot, kinda like the clutch lock system from Kizer. Very cool!! Thank you for the information & the awesome talk!! 🤙🏻🫡🔪
@@KnifeLife116 Yeah, it's set up so you can remove either scale without removing the pivot completely. I'm really digging my updated G10 version, plus now I've got the steel scaled Ar-rpm9 to use as a beater, sell, trade, or give away. Those steel scales are beautifully milled but I just couldn't get past the weight. BHQ also dropped a Pyrite bowie S90v with steel scales milled same as Prado for $90 it's also a ton lighter due to it's smaller size, I picked up both at the same time.
@@jamesreese7111 thanks for the information brother. Yea I saw the Bowie in s90v it’s so dope!! I already had the budget variant in rose gold so I passed but maybe one day. Yea bro I agree 6 oz is heavy, but I couldn’t pass on the s90v. Great price point as well!! Thank you 🤙🏻🔪🫡
@@Kelte as far as I know they are I have a friend who swapped everything over & said it was fine. I’m thinking of doing the same one day I’m just good with the steel for now I’ve already got used to it. Thank you brother have a great day 😊🤙🏻🔪
Yea it’s awesome man, once you get used to the weight it’s fine. I’m acually liking it for done of my task & spins the weight in the rear is acually a good thing for me. I agree 6oz is heavy but I hit adjusted quick. I loooove the s90v 🤙🏻🔪
Thanks I apreciate that man & same here I made a exception for the s90 I just definitely wouldn’t allow myself to pass on it for a hundo 😆 it’s sound worse than it is honestly I’m already used to it just like a 3 0z knife 🤙🏻🔪
I bought myself one like this. The blade has a defect. There are dents from the bearings on the seat. Because of this, the blade cannot move smoothly. There are doubts about the quality of the tempering.
Thank you fam I apreciate you!! This is the invicta grand diver, it’s such a good & well made watch. I’ve had it over 5yrs now, wearing it daily. It had held up so well, it’s super solid, the watch face has took SOOO many blows & dings there’s not even ONE scratch on the crystal lense!! Just an awesome & very capable watch!!! 🤙🏻🔪🫡
Well that would explaine why they look so much like Ti 🤣 In the video I’m like damn these scales look like Ti, after reading your comment I stuck a magnet to them. They do stick but I think it’s attracted to the steel liners, it’s really weak around the edges where there’s not much steel from the liners. I agree with you I acually was trying to figure out how they came up with this finish on the stainless lol looks so much like Ti bc it is Ti 🤣 Thanks for the information 🤙🏻🔪
They are steel, that knife weighs about 6 and a half ounces, the G10 version weighs about 3.5oz. CJRB has a Titanium version in S90v that weighs about 4oz but cost $200, the one he's showing is a dealer exclusive and costs about $105.

Hi friend) It looks interesting. Is everything the same inside? Are the parts interchangeable?

Sick knife and review, bro! Very industrial! 💪
Thank you brother!! 🤙🏻🔪🫡
Liners are because of the crossbar locking system.
Yea I do understand that, but that can easily be accomplished with partial liners like Kizer does. I’m pretty sure I mentioned that maybe not 🤙🏻🔪
Great knife super heavy tho. Been carrying it for the past week.

Great overview, I love the looks but steel knives typically turn me away because of the weight for size. Titanium turns me on though lol
