just a little idea I've had surrounding the beginnings of hailey's dark path storyline in season 7. i'm probably in the minority of loving the complexities that fall under being known as a good, by-the-book cop to working under and being influenced by a notoriously dirty sergeant and a unit that plays by his rules. can't say i agree with the things that she'd done, but i also don't blame hailey for the path she went on - the death of an informant, corrupt cop/ci politics, and a partner that nearly died definitely would've sent me in for a tailspin.
