I used to work at that shop you turned around in when i was a kid, used to be chapple fuels, good times
Can’t wait to see it once it gets the Stevens touch🎉
Ohhhh it's getting it 😎😎
I see belt floors all the time in New York State, they're used a lot for hauling asphalt. Most that I see are the tractor trailer setup, but have seen body mounted setups as well.
Yess the little mini belt systems are funny to see haha
What's up Shane another great video my friend, I hope the new wagon brings you good luck and good economic growth for the company. I can't wait to see the new loads you haul with your new wagon. Stay safe out there my friend and keep the videos coming and always travel safely catch you on the next one.
Thanks 👍 much appreciated buddy,
Red and green switches are for the gate controls. The plunger is air dump for the tailgate system. When something fails, pull it, and the tailgate will drop. We have 5 belt trailers. One is a 5 axle like that one. Yes unlike the song , you need 80 acres to turn those around.
Ten four on the emergency tailgate dump! I appreciate the info bud
Watch the tailgate hinges on that trailer we run about 25 of them and every one of them the hinges have broke about six times
10 4 !
Another great video Shane! Keep rockin it dude!
Thanks! Will do!
I bought a brand new ‘14 Trail King 31’ for asphalt. Loved that trailer.
Brand new is always a nicer route haha
Great video Shane. Nice trailer. Hope u get lots of work done with it. Never pulled one b4 but looks like it should be a good one
Thanks 👍 they are a good safe trailer
I get corn and oats brought in to my feed mill on belts from time to time. They can run slow to be able to even feed a transport auger. Hope it works well for ya.
Cool! Much appreciated buddy
Yeah the ole trail king she’s got snot yup pretty snotty.good buy giver a bubble bath n runner!
Live bottoms definitely have their place! I've pulled 1 hauling sugarbeets I. Minnesota & it was a hell of a lot more fun than the old sidedumps! 😂
We just did sugar beets in dumps a few weeks ago.. what a messss
I haul Hotmix with a live bottom and it’s a lot more fun than a dump lol all I gotta say is good luck and hold on to that wallet when it comes to replacing/servicing. That’s when I’m glad I got dumps to hook up to instead of live bottom
We've got 4 dump trailer aswell, gotta be versatile
I knew it! Haha, the company I work for just got a 4axle live bottom for the salt haul from parry sound 🤘🏼🤘🏼
Nice!! Our salt season was weird this year
Some compagnies used it to fix road side, with other equipment out here in Quebec.
Thanks for the comment 👍
Wow Shane nice trailer. The live bottoms are king for gravel and sand hauls. Does that mean in the future more of those
Could be if it works out !
I like the dump trailer better, honestly
We've got 4 more, but gotta stay versatile
Must not of been hooked and unhooked much the way that handle looks, ouch . But good lookin trailer.
I put a brand new landing gear crank on it Friday 😎
Thought 🤔🤔🤔🤔it might be a livestock🐖🐖🐐🐐🐮🐮🐮 hauler 🤪🤪
guess i was wrong😭😭😭😭😭
As always cheers from Quebec ☕☕☕ (for the Sunday morning) 🍺(for Friday night)
Hahaha no piggy hauling for me haha, I wouldn't mind a livestock trailer for truck showing thoo
Not much pay load difference between a 5 axle belt compared to a 4 to make it worth all the extra expense but I hope you guys come out on top with this new belt good luck to all
It's just what was there for sale at the time bud, if it was a 4 axle, it woulda been coming home the same haha
Live bottoms gonna pay for itself if you stumble apon some gravel contracts for the big st Thomas ev plant
I definitely don't see the tri axle Toronto Boys blasting by my place much anymore
👍
👍👍👍
How old was the abs one you guys used to have shane? If I remember correctly that was a nice wagon
It was a 2014, I like this one more because it doesn't have the ribbed sides that rust
@@StevensLTD love watching your videos and seeing how you all run up in Canada 🇨🇦
A little gorilla tape will fix the belt.
Ohh yea haha nothing to big or crazy to fix
With what type of loads is the live bottom a better option than a walking floor? How does the maintenance costs compare between the walking floor and live bottom?
Walking floor shuffles, live bottom rolls a belt , so a load of gravel or something on that aluminum floor shuffling, it would eat through eventually, but the belt won't wear out that fast , there's definitely a lot more pros and cons but that's the main
Americans from North Dakota are going into Manitoba and buying slightly used B trains cheaper than they can buy them in the US because the Canadian dollar is so weak .
Oh yea man our government has us screwed over here
mate had a trail king live bottom, said it was psychological terror, wonder if this time he pushed the button and the belt got ripped
We can all have a bad day no matter what we are pulling, only takes one big bad rock to break stuff no matter what trailer you've got
@@StevensLTD he hauled asphalt with it, he ran it for 5 years and sold it. never ripped the belt hehe. but we run asphalt for hours and trail kings did not have much insulation.
Isn’t that too much rust for 2017 trailer
Here in Ontario not really, but it sitting almost 2 years in a gravel yard is what really kicked it up
What location is that truck stop/McDonald's?
Bloomfield road exit ! Beside tatro truck parts
