I am so glad that I found your site. You are my kind of person. first of all I love Ellen Wille wigs, and I my favorite is Bernstein colors. I have been an Ellen Wille fan for five years now due to the low density feature. I have always had thin hair, so this feels like the real me. I liked the Raquel Welch wigs, but I am not a fan of heat, friendly fibers due to the amount of work involved to keep them nice also, they tend to be way too thick for my short stature and they feel very unnatural on me. I am a new fan and I love your site. PS I also love to crochet and knit.😊 I sort of kept it quiet because I thought people might think I was a nerd.😅
Thank you so much, Sandra! Ellen Wille definitely has the low density wigs down. I wore Sunset for the longest time. Nobody knew I was wearing a wig. Lol...a nerd? No way.😁💕
Just watched the show with your mom and she was delightful. My mom has been gone for several years but her mannerisms and the way she interacted with you reminded me of my mom. Enjoy and treasure her as long as you can. Your videos are are very informative and fun.
I'm so glad you enjoyed the video and that it brought back good memories for you. I do cherish my time with my mother. Thank you so much for watching!😘
I was so impressed this weekend that our news caster telling the news with no wig and she is completely bald from alopecia. She is such an inspiration for those with the same problem..
I have really been enjoying watching your videos lately, I just found you several weeks ago. I wanted to make a comment about the hair fibers. I have sold almost all of my Raquel Welch wigs because I prefer Ellen Wille. The one issue I’m having is that my head is 22 1/4, so some Ellen Wille can be too snug on me. I have night and find that it is not a problem with my circumference. It is snug, but not uncomfortable. The reason I prefer the Ellen Wille fiber is because as you manipulate them and style them, they stay put. Raquel Welch is always falling back into the design it came with, it does not respond very well to training, and in my opinion it also has an over abundance of hair. Every style I have had has had too much hair, and needed to be thinned. On the Night wig, I hold the hair up at the tiny lace front and hit it with a hairdryer for a few seconds and it lifts up just perfectly in the front.
Hi Chris, I'm so glad you've been enjoying the videos. I agree with you that Ellen Wille wigs train more easily than Raquel Welch. Thanks so much for watching!💕
The "Portrait Mode" is my favorite wig but "Shaded Biscuit" wins hands down as my favorite color. I would love to see similar colors in other brands to be able to make a choice as to what wig to buy. I love Raquel Welch wigs but Ellen Ville wigs draw me to them because they are low density and look good on we petite gals.😁
Frannie, I looked once again at your review online. It is a casual, go to coffee on a saturday morning with friends, run to the store or farmers market without alot of fuss type of feel. It really depends on color preference for the buyer but seems to come in alot of possibilities, and actually is a great price point. Going to add this to my "don't count this one out list". If you had not done a review, I am not sure I would have thought about it by looking at the stock photo, because it just looks better in a real life situation ----so I really do appreciate what you bring to us "wig seeking ladies".
Love RW. How does Portrait Mode compare with Upstage? It seems that Upstage, being completely hand-tied, is a better value. To me, the styles look identical. Thanks for the comprehensive, entertaining review!
Upstage is what I would consider partially Hand-tied . There is some closed wefting along the back near the nape. It is a key difference from Portrait Mode. Portrait mode is a little longer. Also, I've heard that Upstage runs small...it does come in a Large as well. I hope this helps.
I have had a ton of trouble with too thick or bulky wigs Maybe I should try Elen Villa wigs I only buy straight hair wigs. I only buy medium length styles. I love thE finest denier width of each individual hairs. I guess it would be baby fine hair. I think it is most beautiful texture. .
Ellen Wille is definitely known for lower density wigs. Here's a link to straight, medium length Ellen Wille wigs: frannieshair.com/collections/ellen-wille?filter.p.m.custom.filter_texture=Straight&filter.p.m.custom.filter_length=Medium. Let me know if you have any questions. Thanks so much for watching!❤️
9/24SS is my go-to shade. In the future, I’d love to see suggestions for similar shades from other brands. Choosing popular shades and doing the same for other shades in a weekly series might be fun or it could be mentioned on the website or FB.
I love Night but I do wish there could be a composite of Ellen Wille styles with Raquel Welch fibres and colours. To my eye EW styles are more modern looking but RW fibres and colours look and feel much nicer and are more varied. xx
The Portrait mode wig and the colour looks fabulous on you. It's gorgeous and looks like real hair, editors pick elite is also fab, you look really glamorous. Click is not you nor is French, in my opinion, but Night looks lovely on you. Some wigs are similar yet look really different on
Omg….I love the first wig..need blonder tho, love the 2nd wig…too blond for me…love Night…and love French. So there. It’s your face….you look fantastic in any wig. Even that short dark wig. Who are you? What secrets can you reveal about how these wigs all look great on you.? It’s really not fair. I do love portrait Mode and Night. I might just binge…it sure that you have my colors. Yes…tiny head and light blond with golden blond mix.. you know this, Frannie. Thanks so much for reviewing these. Still waiting for my petite Sullivan tho. But I really loved all the wigs you just tried on…except the short one….even tho you look good in it. Okay…I’ll check your website for colors…and be in touch with you…yes again. 😏. You probably swallow a half bottle of Advil when you see an email from me… You’re sooooooo cute. Adorable. So helpful. Thank you for all your hard work and for doing these reviews. And thank Matt again for me. Love the bobs…low density…but that longer one…I so want hair like that. Great job. I won’t be eating for a while (saving up my money) but I’ll be wearing one or two or maybe 3 wigs off and on. Hugs and love.❤️🌹🫶🫶🫶💫👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻👍😍
Lol...you crack me up! I was thinking of you with both Portrait Mode and Night. Portrait Mode doesn't come in petite, but Night feels nice and snug. She could be a good choice for you. What do you think of her?💕😘❤️
I see you have quite a few wigs in the background that have bangs. Please do a video with a variety of wigs that have bangs. I know you can cut them into a wig, but I'm new to this whole thing and feel like I should get one with bangs already there. Thanks for considering.
Hi...the wigs in the background were actually from a review of all of those wigs...here's the link: ruclips.net/video/kepvgFXcSLk/видео.html. Thanks so much for watching!💕
Where can I find the wigs you have in your background? I really like wig B, but no idea what it actually is. Please help?? Love your content BTW!! Your reviews are amazing and thorough which really helps me decide if a wig is for me or not.
Hi Kelly...I did a review of all of these wigs here: ruclips.net/video/kepvgFXcSLk/видео.html. The wig you like (B) is Blaze in CKISSRT4. You can buy her here (she's 30% off right now-the discount comes off in the cart): frannieshair.com/products/blaze-estetica?_pos=1&_sid=9088af673&_ss=r. Also, don't forget to check out my open box section where I sell the wigs I review at a discount. Thanks so much for watching!
The non-heat friendly wigs are shiny...you can get heat friendly, which is definitely less shiny. Also, you can do a cold soak of your wig for a few hours. Over time with wear, the shiny-ness fades greatly. Some people also use powder. I have not tried that yet. I hope this helps.❤️
Any idea ....why they put so much hair on hand tied?? Is it me...or do they all seem to put more hair on the hand tied? When it should be opposite. The whole reason to get hand tied is so you dont need as much hair to cover the wefts and dont have to worry if wind blows. Even Belle tress seems to have done this with new Lux collections. Im stumped. Been trying to find a low density fully hand tied bob like portrait mode or Haute.
Interesting...I hadn't noticed that, but now I'm going to pay attention. I'll also ask some of the designers to get their takes. If I get a good answer, I'll be sure to talk about it in an upcoming video.💕
Frannie, I started with Ellen Wille wigs because of the low density but I do find the fibers more difficult to manipulate than the Raquel Welch fibers. The EW fibers are a little stiffer.
Here's a link (she's on sale this weekend): frannieshair.com/products/portrait-mode-raquel-welch?variant=46365329391902. 30% comes off automatically at checkout. Depending on the shade she runs $268-$275. Thank you for watching, Mary!💕
I just joined your Facebook group. Hopefully it will accept me. I’ve tried one that didn’t work. Anyway I’m hopeful I can relate and take some advice from you. Our measurements are nearly exactly. That’s been hard to find. Anyway I loved the RW wig you wore in the beginning. I’m hopeful I can finally get help. Great reviews. On all wigs.
Very nice to see 5 wigs in one video without it being too long. Great job!
Thank you, Lee Ann!😘

I love the wig you started with - portrait mode caffe latte. I think that might be my all time favorite on you!!! Beautiful!!!
Thank you, Sis!😘😘😘

Thank you! I'm on a mission to review as many wigs as I can...there are a lot!😁💕
You look fantastic in all the wigs. Thanks for telling about the new ones.
Thank you, Teena. 💕 My pleasure!
You know how to wear them. The dark chocolate mix was cute when you tucked it behind your ear. ❤ Great upload.
Thank you, Justin! I was thinking...what can I do with this wig...lol. I hope you're having a great weekend!💕
portrait mode and night in the colours you showed look best on you! 😊
Those were my favorites too. Thank you for watching!❤️

Thank you, Dee! What did you think of Night? Is it a style that you would like?

Love all the colors ❤
Thank you for watching, April!❤️
Editor’s Pick is amazing on you 😍😍😍
Thank you, Monika! It's a gorgeous wig...and the cap is pure luxury. I wasn't sure if the color was too light for me.🤷♀️

Wondering if portrait mode has any sister styles that are not heat friendly please?
Have you looked at Jamison by Estetica?

I noticed that Ellen Wille’s wig are very shiny, is there a way to change that besides dry shampoos?
The non-heat friendly wigs are shiny...you can get heat friendly, which is definitely less shiny. Also, you can do a cold soak of your wig for a few hours. Over time with wear, the shiny-ness fades greatly. Some people also use powder. I have not tried that yet. I hope this helps.❤️
Question Re: 9” side length-is that from center of head to shoulder?
The way a wig is measured can often vary between manufacturers. The side length is often from the ear tab to the end of the wig.
@ thank you

I agree. Stiffer and more coarse. Thanks so much for watching!💕
Ide love the price on Portrait mode.

It's funny that people thought shaded biscuit was going to be cooler, since I thought some of my early purchases would be warmer...
Good to hear from you, Muriel! I think it’s so hard to tell color from a pic or video.😊💕
Think the difference in fiber between Raquel and Ellen Wille is that the Raquel is heat friendly
That can definitely make a difference. I do find that Raquel Welch wigs are very luxurious feeling...the fibers.💕
❤
Very nice
