Treasures on earth or treasures in heaven?

Jesus tells his followers to store up treasures....but what kind? Eternal treasures such as witnessing, giving, and serving Christ, which will outlast and man-made thing. People fall into the trap of trying to get from money what they can get only from God: peace, security, significance, influence, stability, friends, satisfaction, pleasure. All these things are found in God alone, by knowing Jesus Christ.
All of the man-made treasures of earth will eventually disintegrate into dust.
