I grew up with my dad playing asa back in 2004-2006 and he had the silver Evo ax , Easton synergy, synergy 2 synergy cnt flex , synergy extended, freak limited edition, freak plus and freak 98 and the miken ultra 2. And I loved them all but I personally liked the 98 and the flex.
I’m almost brand new at this slow pitch, so idk if I like the one pieces as I hardly have anyone around that does BP. My gamer and my first bat ever is actually that kretcher (27oz) I love the thing with I would’ve gone up to 28 though but I can still reach 300 pretty regularly. Love your videos and thanks for helping my journey from getting my swing down and watching your sessions on BP what you’re looking for
Great information! I came here looking to buy my 2nd ever so bat. I had used a teammates bat (same krecher you game) and absolutely loved the feel so I grabbed that last year. Its asa and Ive learned it is not good to hit usssa balls with asa bats as it will eventually kill the pop. I play in a asa league and a usssa league. I have maybe 100 hits on it so hopefully I haven't hurt it too bad. I agree with you though, go with what feels good and you have success with.
You still selling those BP buddies? I see a fresh one in the back ground, LOL. I got one years ago through my boy Terry Hyatt with both of you guys on your label. But don’t see them available anywhere. Mine so old that the fingers have broken after about 5 years of abuse. Everyone loves the idea and wants one in San Diego area. Any help will be appreciated.
I’m a 5’3” 130lbs guy I enjoy my inside out swing to push it opo, but I do pride myself on being a placement batter. I’ve been swinging a balanced 26oz axe avenge pro 220. I’m wanting more pop, any suggestions
Do you see power hitting conference guys generally swinging heavier bats (27/28 oz) and more OBP guys swinging lighter (25-26 oz)? Curious to see what weights these guys are swinging,
I dont really see that too much. I think it's more preference. I think most are swinging 26 or 27. Then a few of the bigger guys might be on 28oz. And maybe a few on 25oz. But I don't see a correlation like you were mentioning.
@davemutant depending on the company and the specific "handles" they have, will make the difference in a whippy flexible feel or stiffer feel. One piece bats will obviously be stiffer than the stiffest 2 piece. Performance is based on personal preferences
what would you recommend for me? my favorite bat was the old Easton st100 balanced bat. It was a 13.5 inch barrel and from my understanding had a stiffer handle than most balanced bats do. i could be wrong about whether the handle itself was a stiffer or a flexier handle. Do you think the tantrum 13inch balanced would feel similar? on top of that i mostly swing 220's so if there's something else you'd recommend that feels more close to that bat, it would be a huge help.
If you dont have to have a 240 bat, then I would recommend the older Worth EST balanced. It was orange. If you wanna go new, I think the miken primo balanced or this 13" balanced Tantrum would feel great. The flex really doesn't affect it much. I have heard good things on the LS Genius balanced too.
ASP doesn't have them but Miken just released a DC41 Supermax that looks exactly like the OG with a red knob and everything... This years Mikens have been fire, so I'm sure it will be hot.
It is a 240. The specs are 12.75" barrel. It has an XL endload. I don't have any to sell, but try Worthsports.com or there might be some dealers that still have some left.
That’s cool. My boy and I were at the games all day Saturday, until the rain delay. Great day of softball. Did you play in the tournament or just come watch?
This is a great video. Thank you for helping me understand how the different specs affect the swings.
Good dude Cole. You been killing it with these videos.
Thanks. Im here to help
@@hittingwiththenation still got my BP buddy. Two teeth left but works pretty darn well lol.

How do you like that yellow Miken Freak? Mine started cracking at the junction where the handle meets the barrel.
Great info!

I have been working on making them again. If I finally find a way to manufacture them I'll make a video and start selling them again. Subscribe
Great video
I had a Miken 30 Flip Filby Highlighter that i absolutely loved. What current bat would you say is the closest to this?
@@PhilSpears2 the Miken KP23 maxload that just came out should be very close.

Great video!

Any thoughts on 2-piece versus single piece bat?

Blue springs mo, like the heavy stuff
What bat would you recommend if your favorite bat was the 2015 miken DC 41 supermax
ASP doesn't have them but Miken just released a DC41 Supermax that looks exactly like the OG with a red knob and everything... This years Mikens have been fire, so I'm sure it will be hot.
True, the dc-41would match the specs. There is also the Worth big foot is a 12.75 xxl endload
Is that worth legit a 240? If so where can I find one, and what are the specs. My favorite bat line was the legit line from worth.

Man, you just aint looked the same in the eyes. Ever since you got rid of KUNGFU VANDA
Can I use a slow pitch bat on fastpitch softball?
You can, but depending on how hard the ball is, it could possibly shorten the life of the bat.
GREAT VIDEO!!!
Were you at this game? or just used the footage?
My footage
At the game
