Very well done, especially the hand - nice touch (no pun intended). Why tho the shield necessary must be a shootable through from inside? It can just mimic properties of outfit shield dome - everyone can walk through in both directions, but noone can shot through it from both directions. By that defenders would lose ability to shot aircrafts, but thats not a big deal since A2G cannot contest it anyway. I'm just afraid some cheeky MBT main would find a spot on a hill to shot through that gap in some doorway (or that defender's staircase") over and over again.
Thank you for the feedback. You make a valid point. So we could make it a so no one can shoot through it, but then we would also have to stop any player from walking or dropping through it as well. As the issue we would run into is the defenders not able to contest a galaxy or a valk just hovering there as a perma spawn. So it becomes a choice of do we remove the ability to do hot drops on this base and take away from that aspect of the game or do we keep the ability to do hot drops on the base and suffer from the odd angle that a tank can get. Both are not perfect options however it just comes down to what is acceptable to the player and what turns out to be more fun. I would try both options and see what players prefer before making a decisions like that.
Honestly the massive anti A2G shield alone is more than worth it. Nicely done.
