- Season 3 Episode 10:
-Three injured turkey poults imprint on Punk and follow her everywhere
-Justine comes by to help plant peppers and babysit the three "orphans"
-It rains on the farm for nearly a month straight, screwing up our planting
schedule
-Pops and Punk finish planting the cucumbers, squash and pumpkins
-Punk attempts to pawn the "orphans" off on Elaine Benes after Fonzi bails on taking care of the poults
-Do morning rounds with Punk and get updates on all your favorite birds. Plus, meet the MEATIES!!!

Girl you had me laughing almost the whole time (Popcorn). My dang turkeys want to help me with EVERYTHING! Sorry to hear about Popcorn and don't worry about the algorithm. You make great vids and people will find you... I did. Really glad that Paprika is doing so well. The weather's been weird here as well. Keep your chin up!
Ditto re: Cornish Cross. Still surprised at the number of homesteaders (we used to watch) who go that route. Always seemed cruel and commercial to me and the poor things were for home use/meat (while I sit here saving worms and salamanders 🤓). Finally ‘able’ and ‘thankful’ to find 12 pullets to add to our 2 small flocks. The integration will be interesting. At $25 each they will be precious. Could only get 6 Orpington and 6 Bresse. Taking what we could get. Feel weak when I think of your ‘100’ beds and all else you have going on … compared to my little operation, mind you I’m 65 and it’s all for personal use, not income. Always believe something wonderful is about to happen … maybe the next thing could be as simple, yet as bright as sunshine! 😎🇨🇦 B&Y … p.s. tks 😙

Sorry for your loss, completely understand myself, but your gardens are looking great!!! So awesome!! In Michigan we've had so much drought, heat and weird frost that I've planted multiple times and still struggling, your doing great!! Keep smiling and go forth and continue to do great things 😂

Chickens and turkeys are interesting animals...i failed miserably getting a broody mama hen to take some chicks from the feed store this summer. I thought she was taking them, but then she killed four of them. Also we lost our "connie," the hen. Connie was short for miss congeniality because she was always the friendly and curious about people since she was a chick in the brooder. Such is nature, i guess, but it still leaves you blue.

Thanks for checking on us 🙏. We're okay. Computer crashed in June, hence the lack of content this summer. Trying to save our pennies so we can get a new one, but we need so much farm stuff.. deer fencing being a top priority!
i understand. we’ve had a bobcat come. even with electric fencing. the deer are determined even with fences. There’s like triple fence methods i’ve seen. they’re strong and jump surprisingly high.
i hope the fencing happens and goes well, before the snow starts.
