A beautifully observed, carefully orchestrated, increasingly claustrophobic mood piece, shot by the director with his own children, this is a chilling exploration of every parent's worst nightmare, all the more upsetting for its quiet, impressionistic understatement. Those of you with young children might want to check up on them after seeing this.
