The one thing I hate about "tactical packs" is why would you need a spot for your laptop? I want room for what I am trying to achieve and most scenarios I would use these packs in would not need a laptop space

Digital Warfare. Then again, I wouldn't know whether that's within the Competence/Responsibility of the Military.

i have two used medium alice packs i bought for $50.00. an lc2 frame for 35,00. 4 new modern backpacks for $113.00 . for less than $200.00 i equipped myself. i don't buy overpriced items.

@@bull5919 I've got a Large Rucksack complete with frame and prob 200$ worth of survival gear like bunch of paracord, repelling ropes, emergency blankets, 2 IFAKS worth of med items, wire saw, tinder, fire starters, compass etc. For $60 for all. Even had the full AR cleaning kit in the pouch with a bottle if Kroil oil (prob $30 itself). So you CAN get stuff at cheap prices. Just my 2c man. I got lucky.
@J sorry, auction date has passed and she made a decent amount of cash from it considering the high end nascar stuff to a Barret 50 cal. We got to pick thru it for a good month before auction and snagged what we could afford as stuff was cheap.
I bought that big rush pack at Walmart for 35 dollars b4 it was "sog" then rush and maybe even one or 2 also.. it was "field and stream" they just through the name on a china made pack. Just like under Armour and many other things. Cracks me up people pay attention to certain brands . When many brands just sew name on blank items
so true, tons of china products just get rebranded then advertised as mil spec or some bs with the price 2-3x what the "blank" brand cost. i just buy china stuff directly from ali express and skip the middleman
it's pretty nauseating really. That's why buying Canadian or American is so important to me more than ever these days. I just chalked it up to being old and miserable in general. Glad others are paying attention
