100% agree that Jake was FOTY even though he lost once last year! So to start, Slim never fought in main event plus struggled in his wins against Zanetti and Salt! Tommy won his fights and also beat Jake but his fights were very underwhelming and he didn’t even knock KSI or Jake out let alone knock them down! Where as Jake lost to Tommy but knocked Tommy down and Nate Diaz down as well! Plus also knocked Andre August out! So all of his fights this year he either knocked his opponent down or out! Fury won but was expected to and his fight with KSI was terrible! He won but very poor performance! KSI on the other hand beat Temperr easily which was expected! Elbows somebody that he was supposed to beat easily! Then performed terribly on one of the most hyped up cards this year! Then who else? Deen the great honestly he surprised me but the problem is he never fought on the main event! I feel like to prove that you’re fighter of the year material you have to show that you’re able to take the main event stage and be able to dominate! Jake proved that this year against Nate Diaz in a 10 round main event fight! Where as Deen only fought 5 rounds on an undercard fight! Then Gib beat Jarvis but Jarvis is not anywhere near the level of Nate Diaz! Plus if I’m not mistaken I think Gib and Jarvis only fought 5 rounds as well! Like nobody in the influencer scene is fighting 8-10 round main event fights and performing like the way Jake is! Anthony Taylor don’t get me started with him! I’ll give him his props he beat Salt and Kenny but again only 3 rounds against salt in an undercard and then Kenny in a 5 round undercard! So all those other nominations weren’t anywhere on Jakes level in terms of performance level! When you take in all the factors of how many rounds he fought! His level of ring activity this year fighting 3 times in 2023 just like he did in 2021! Also add in that all of his fights were main events! Was able to either get a knockdown or knockout in all of his three fights! Made all of his events and fights exciting even against Tommy Fury he made that fight exciting because he wasn’t afraid to stand in front of Tommy and trade punches with him unlike KSI who hugged Fury every second he could and only fought him for 6 rounds where as Jake fought Fury for 8 rounds plus also knocked him on his behind in round 8 where as KSI was trying to hug and avoid him the whole 6th round because he was afraid to trade shots and was also very desperate trying to survive and go to the scorecards because he thought he won off of a two point deduction! Where as Jake was fighting until the final bell regardless of the scorecards! Jake was going for the knockout against Tommy where as KSI was desperately trying to clinch and survive! That is why Jake is on another level compared to all these other influencers and in 2023 he proved that yet again and will continue to get better where as KSI is taking another break going on holiday while Jake is still training getting better day by day! The longer KSI waits to fight Jake the worse the outcome will be for KSI if they ever even fight! Jake proved it in 2021, 2022, and now in 2023 to why he is the FOTY in the RUclips/influencer boxing scene and it’s not even close!

I gotta disagree for the fighter of the year. Jake’s performance against august was good, but not fighter of the year worthy.
As for Nate Diaz, anyone who saw him hit the pads knew that this fight wasn’t going to be close. Nate looked like he wasn’t properly training with that poor technique. The impressive thing about the Nate Diaz fight was obviously Jake surviving 10 rounds, but I just don’t think it’s fighter of the year worthy. Especially factoring in Jake’s loss (obviously understandable) I just can’t say he was the fighter of the year when there are 2 undefeated guys with incredible performances.
Slim was getting destroyed from all sides of the internet for ducking salt, so when he came and knocked salt out with that comeback 2 piece, it was undeniably fighter of the year worthy. Couple that with slim’s fight against zanetti, a guy with a Muay Thai background that was 20 pounds heavier, that slim beat while having an absolute war with, slim has to be my pick especially cus he’s undefeated.
And then there’s dean who was showing incredible displays of technique throughout the year. He’s undefeated too and winning against walid, one of the most hyped up and stunning fights of the year. And then him DISLOCATING his arm in the middle of the fight and still contented against walid. Deen is another great pick.

I get why they don't like JJ and Logan but the way they keep using them for views is just weird and obsessive. I saw this clip of wade complaining about KSI fans who don't like him and always comment on his posts but that's the same thing he does to JJ and Logan. Any interview, video or tweet they posts wade immediately 'breaks down' and overly analyzes it (always in a negative way). So I also get why JJ and Logan don't like wade, imagine with everything you do some guy is always there ready to profit off of it and constantly critizing you, I'm sure they are both used to it but it's probably still very annoying. I don't rate people like 'the fan' either but I also don't see much of a difference between him and wade, at least sensei used to create content and didn't build his career solely based on criticizing other peoples hard work, just my opinion.

It makes me laugh😂that none y'all acknowledge KSI not only catching up too Jake in a year, but having a more impressive performance against Tommy; furthermore surpassing Jake who had 3 years non stop training while KSI was on a break, and Jake still lost embarrassingly whereas KSI actually outlanded Tommy in 3 rounds and was able to stand with him even when again he had 1 Year to do this. Y'all be following the sheep because you both know KSI won and even if he did draw, he is still better then Jake. You also don't even scale Tommy and act like he didn't beat Jake therefore Tommy would clear all Jakes opponents same with JJ
