John Legend performed live in New York City in December of 2013 as part of VEVO GO Shows series. With just piano and voice he enchanted a throng of people at Manhattan's Standard Hotel. The patrons were uninformed that the show was going to take place, and their surprise is evident. The song is "All Of Me," from Legend's 2013 album 'Love In The Future.' Parts of the show were shot with the Sony QX100 Lens-style camera.

My husband and I had the pleasure of going to this location 2 years ago and all I could think about was John singing and playing the piano. We also asked our waiter about this occurrence. The staff was informed about 1-2 hours before he performed. So it was definitely a surprise to everyone!

Because I already knew John Legend could sing, what made this song for me was the audiences' faces. You could tell it really hit to heart for them. Their's the smile in appreciation, but the audience had mouths agape, and eyes widened. You could tell they genuinely enjoyed the song.
