From Colts 1903 pocket to S&W 696 pre dash to Ruger Ac556 and many more. Have a S&W M&P-15 as my first AR. Loving the hell out of it. Right now, saving up on a Daniel Defense SOCOM M-4 with the quad rails with a Trijicon ACOG to go along with it. Not gonna be cheap at 3.5K at least but so gonna be worth it to go along side my M&P!
Cleaning and maintenance is a great contrast to using your gun. There is a lot to be said about the tranquility of cleaning something that is so chaotic during use.
THANKS for the shoutout to local Silencer Central! Those guys are great. I got 4 suppressors in under 3 months going through them and it was so much easier than I could have ever imagined. Love me some quad rail.
My very first AR was a Daniel Defense DDM4 V7 and I regret that I sold it. I have tried just about every AR since and nothing compares to my first Daniel Defense. I am happy to say that I'm finally buying another one :).

I bought my first colt Ar15 carbine this year with the first child support check in over 6 years and that came because of the covid money my ex tried to get. So I took the 1200$ and bought a colt to give to my son when he gets older.
I would have gotten a shotgun, 12g and ... maybe .... another shotgun? Would you go with one Browning or two Remingtons? Problem with ARs is high cost of ammo. 12g much cheaper.
Awesome video! I'm from Worcester and I gotta say I love that you actually said the name correctly. I love the Gun Parlor, they always have a good selection of new and also preban guns which is nice for MA.
"My toaster" LMAO!! One of my thoughts when I read, watch, or hear folks going on ad nauseum about their tactical accessories is "What about a toaster oven?".
Great video, Hickok! 👍🏻 I just completed a Colt M4A1/ Block 1 clone. I built it “clone correct” as they say.. Man, it’s a little heavy with the ACOG RCO on top, but I have fallen in love with it!!! 💥🤷🏻♂️👊🏻
Great choice Hickok, I would never give up my DDM4V1LW. It was my first that I bought after I retired from the Marine Corps in 2003, and that is the one they will have to pry out of my cold dead hands!
The V7 and M4A1 have the best barrels on that table that will outlast the others. Wise choice. I would also opt for the V7 because it is lighter than the M4A1.
I had an older gentlemen come to my shop with 3 AR15's he wanted me to put prism sights on, sight in, and clean when finished. Two were a Daniel Defense and one was a LWRC. Those two Daniel Defense were much tighter, more quality built, as well as more accurate than the LWRC. Still though were not quite what my two full custom AR15s I built with GGP billet reciever sets but for a factory built AR15 they were the best I ever messed with in category of factory build AR15's
The lightweight Mlok rail with iron sights is hard to beat. As much as I love my Colt stuff, I too would keep my BCM or DD Mloks because they weigh less. Nothing is more cruel than a “one AR” ultimatum though!
Hey Mr. Hickok45 I have watched your channel for year now ever time I have researched & studied up on a sorting gun I have all ways come to your page to see if you have done a review on it and of course you so for always have and you have gave me the exactly the details & information I was needing & looking for but one video that I have been waiting on for years is of your entire gun collection & where you store them I thank that would make for a very different but interesting show. You and me both. admittedly I'm not as they say, a great shot. But that mk18 up to 100yds lets me fool anybody into thinking I am. Same with my kids m4v11. I am so glad I waited to buy the one I wanted when I could afford to rather than settling for less. ITS NOT AVAILABLE FOR SALE OR CONFISCATION!!!!
If you can ever get your hands on one, I'd absolutely love to hear your thoughts on one of the HK G3 clones on the market! I have a PTR model that I absolutely adore and would like to see you give it some love.
Why favorite ar ever is either my colt 6940 or my 14,5 pinned geissele just amazing rifles I recommend them a lot and that coming from a guy with like 12 ars but those two are just perfect
I have a 79 SP1 that I bought in the early 90s and I think it’s still one of he best. If I had to choose one that wouldn’t be it. However much I love it, I have a Savage MSR Recon that rolls over every other AR I have and have tried. It’s slightly sub MOA with Basic Federal ammo and I can hit virtually anything out to 400 yds with not much effort.

you dont have to be knowlwdgable about firearms to know that twisting steel like that with your bare hands isnt possible

Been watching for years and hickok seems like a real genuine guy with a love for firearms and shooting. Thanks for years of great content look forward to many more.
I'm building my own AR15 with my dad currently but it always so fun to go shooting with a variety, but cleaning the guns after can be time consuming.
Enjoy it man and get spare parts because they may become unavailable soon .
Lol I clean my ar15s MAYBE every 1000 rounds.
That's just a part of the process. Imo I enjoy the calm tedium after the chaos.
Find something interesting to listen to while you clean them!
Cleaning and maintenance is a great contrast to using your gun. There is a lot to be said about the tranquility of cleaning something that is so chaotic during use.
Your videos are very interesting. Greetings from BRAZIL and continue with your great work on RUclips.
THANKS for the shoutout to local Silencer Central! Those guys are great. I got 4 suppressors in under 3 months going through them and it was so much easier than I could have ever imagined. Love me some quad rail.
Life is good! Thanks for sharing Hickock!
My very first AR was a Daniel Defense DDM4 V7 and I regret that I sold it. I have tried just about every AR since and nothing compares to my first Daniel Defense. I am happy to say that I'm finally buying another one :).
The 2nd amendment protects all the other amendments
Looks like we may have to protect the 1st in the near future... My ancestors died for those rights and the 1st one is under grave threats. It starts with big tech but that's most certainly not where it ends...
the "Con"stitution is just that, a con to make you think you have rights when in fact, you do not have rights you have freedom and liberty, granted to you by the Great Creator on the day he put you here in this realm to live out your mortal experience
Can't protect against the 19th. Alas.
@@magnificentgentleman2805 Sadly, you are right. Although, I think if the majority of Americans knew that we no longer have fair and free elections (which means we are almost like slaves) then they may take up arms to retake their right to vote. Or, they'd be complacent as long as they have wifi and a never ending stream of entertainment.
They were playing your videos at my local gun store and I was super happy to see you on a 72 inch tv.
That’s awesome
Love it when you pull out a carbine . Guy next to you says that doesn’t look to loud . Then proceed to unload and he’s there in aww 😄
Priceless !!!
Good morning Mr. Hickok. A video I been waiting for. Thank you sir.
I bought my first colt Ar15 carbine this year with the first child support check in over 6 years and that came because of the covid money my ex tried to get. So I took the 1200$ and bought a colt to give to my son when he gets older.
Nice. Hope he enjoys it.
Nice gun, best wishes to keeping that piece for him when time comes
Get some PMAGS also while you still can. Ammo would be nice as well.
I would have gotten a shotgun, 12g and ... maybe .... another shotgun? Would you go with one Browning or two Remingtons? Problem with ARs is high cost of ammo. 12g much cheaper.
I won’t but anything colt ever again
Awesome video! I'm from Worcester and I gotta say I love that you actually said the name correctly. I love the Gun Parlor, they always have a good selection of new and also preban guns which is nice for MA.
"My toaster" LMAO!! One of my thoughts when I read, watch, or hear folks going on ad nauseum about their tactical accessories is "What about a toaster oven?".
Awesome choice! I just picked up my DDM4 V7, 1st AR15 ever, yesterday. Can’t wait to hit the range.
How much did that set you back?
Congratulations
Good for you sir!! Enjoy it.!!!
Hej Hickok, following you long time, thank you for the great videos, much love from Serbia! Stay safe and God bless you.
The LWRC is the one for me....I'm a twisted guy so that barrel fits. :)
Oh damn! I had the A2 pegged, but you really threw me on this one! I like how Hickok45 holds rounds like so many nickles and dimes!
Nice collection...those are some beauties alright. I am sure you have what could be considered a small armory by now Hickok. Thanks for the content.
I bet hearing dad say, as he went out the back door, “I’m going bowling,” meant something different to Big John growing up! 😂😂😂
The lightweight Mlok rail with iron sights is hard to beat. As much as I love my Colt stuff, I too would keep my BCM or DD Mloks because they weigh less.
Nothing is more cruel than a “one AR” ultimatum though!
I have many AR's. Including a Colt Sporter II. I bought it in 1985. My first ever rifle. Made in 1974. I could never give her up. :)
Great choice. I chose the DDM4V7 almost immediately. Just can’t go wrong. Eats everything and highly reliable.
beautiful ARs you have there
V7 FOR THE WIN!!!!!!! What I got and I love it. I have a timney calvin elite trigger in mine.
Thank you for all you have done for me and the gun community.
Agreed. Very glad with my v7. Great purchase 3 years ago when you could still get them
I’m glad the Colt was in the top two. I love Colt.
Keep 'em all Hickok!! I now have a strict no-sell policy when it comes to my guns. Had to sell a bunch of my guns a long time ago when I got in a tight spot, been sorry ever since. Wished I had those back!! Great vids man, keep 'em coming!
Same!!!!
Found a compilation of your videos which introduced me to your channel. Love your videos, very educational and fun to watch. :)
Awesome vid Hickok. Your opinion is well respected and your wisdom is appreciated. Thanks for your time!
Bought a DD Mk18 pistol a little over a year ago, i absolutely freakin love the thing.
Most people only have one AR15. This legend has so many that he can create a top-5 list.
You are awesome bud!! One AR you haven’t shown was the very first one, without the forward assist. My uncle made one to 1963 specs
Thank you for your knowledge, truth & actually useful information to many of us that NEED this!! Saw you on Tucker Carlson & getting ready to watch the who episode (of its posted yet).
I literally cannot Believe how much your channel has grown. Long time subscriber. Watched you blow up fast and I was happy for you. Respect to the second amendment!!!!!!
Hang on to them all sir! May be hard to come by very soon! I'm still putting them together like the world's ending. Howdy from WNC
Great video as always, sir. Thank you for helping me make a decision. I couldn’t decide between a DDM4v7 or the BCM Recce 16.
I want a BCM
A tear dropped from my eye when he pushed the colt out of the way…😢
“Traded sold bought replaced” and losing them in a boating accident 😂
Love the videos. You are a living legend.
Great video! I also love that Daniel Defense V7.
What to thank you for your appearance on Tucker tonight. Being a VN vet I would still prefer my old, govt isued weapon to any of the new .223/.556 on the market now days with a optics upgrade. Over the years I have used your reviews of hand guns to help me select my personal CCW weapon. Thanks
Hey hickock, I really love how even though you have all these subscribers, you never let it go to your head. Some guys get around 20 k and they get a blimp head. But you have over 5 million and you don't talk too much, you hardly have any ads, and Even though you could really be raking it in by putting ads in your videos, you still dont. This makes you my favorite youtuber, maybe ever.
He’s the Bob Ross or Steve1989 of firearms 😄
I'm legitimately relieved silencer central isn't based out of Illinois.
Wow. I didn’t see that coming. Awesome and creative video. Keep up the good work
I love the variety...we can never let go of this right. All guns/calibers have their purpose.
Every time he shuffles his feet you can hear shells clinking around.
Murica!
It’s Hicock ground fertilizer. New fresh rounds pop up from the ground.
You see that orange-ish ground around him? Well that’s not an autumn leaf.
I could watch you guys everyday for the rest of my life. So much love
Hello. Thank you for reassuring me, I had just bought a DDM4 V7 S, on the advice of my gunsmith in France ... With a Geissele S3G trigger, it's a pure marvel !!! 🖖
I’m a big fan. Thank you for the videos. I wish we had more teachers like you...
Glad the A2 made it to 2nd. I just love those things.
Real title: The AR-15 I will hide and not turn in to the national buyback program.
Can't "buy back" something they didn't have to start with. I dont know about you but I haven't purchased anything from the government.
The government couldn't pass the background check. Denied.
I'm not giving a gun to an international arms dealer... it would probably end up with the Mexican cartels like before!
Why would anyone comply with a national buyback program?
@@leifleoden5464 stupidity and fear
the delton sport might not have had all the bells, whistles and fine manufacturing but it never failed, loved the stock iron sites and so much more fun to shoot accurate up close and down range....a good fighting rifle
I would have to say the Colt A2 would be the last one I would get rid of and I really enjoy your collection you get to show us.
The last ar15 of mine I'd sell... is none of them lol
Watching this as I stroke my DD MK18 and DD M4A1. Would never sell these two quads!
Just got a mk18 yesterday, makes me feel better about dropping that kind of cash
@@wesworld98 bro how did you get it they are always sold out im losing my mind lol
@@zackharris4293 me and a buddy got the last two they had, Alabama is a great place for guns!
Which is better? DD m4a1 or the v7?
@@keithhenderson2300 V7 is 16" while M4A1 is 14.5". Also, V7 has mlok rail while M4A1 has quad rail. I like quad rails because weapon lights and other stuff can be attached more easily than on mlok rail. I actually had a V7 Pro (18") but sold it and got the M4A1 upper. So ask yourself which one you want?
3:25 That AR really smokes the hell out of that pot. xD I love you Hickock, thank you for all the information, its been helpful!
Your the best! It seems you favor the right side compared to the center and to the left. And you seem to favor shooting targets from the center to the left
